There’s little worry that the Channel Zero TV show will be cancelled soon since it’s already been renewed for a second season. However, it’s not unheard of for a cable channel to rescind an early order if the ratings are bad enough. Will Syfy regret the two season order? Will they follow through with season two? Stay tuned.
A horror anthology series, each season of Channel Zero is expected to follow a different story and characters. The first season, titled Candle Cove, centers on one man’s obsessive recollections of a mysterious children’s television program from the 1980s. He has ever-growing suspicions about the role that the show might have played in a series of nightmarish and deadly events from his childhood. The cast includes Paul Schneider, Fiona Shaw, Shaun Benson, Natalie Brown, and Luisa D’Oliveira.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

What do you think? Do you like the Channel Zero TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled instead of renewed for a second season?
That the show was kind of weird but was hooked on it. The teeth man gives me the creeps.
Paul Schneider is just plain bad in this role.
Another SYFY show renewed with a 0.20 average live rating. is NBC Universal proud of that? They shouldn’t be.
The storyline seemed pointless. Too many unanswered questions. Didn’t think it was scary at all.
I look forward to the next season! It had me hooked on the first episode due to it’s very original ideas based on what was actually a show or a play in 1968-71 from what I read.
I love new ways to get scared!!
I really liked it, most of the stuff on Syfy Channel is so fake and boring, but this was different, always liked the end cliffhangers, wish it would of went on longer.
I personally really like the show and hope for many seasons to come. Interesting characters and really freaky!
Loved it so interesting, well done!
I loved the shoe, Smartly written, yet very scary. Horrir is very pychological and quiet yet so creepy.
I love the show and hope SyFy renews it. It is different than other shows and then other show options.
I watched the first three seasons of American Horror Story and tried to give this new season a try, but stopped three episodes in because the quality drop was obvious. Channel Zero is easily filling my television horror hole. I hope word of mouth helps this show out. It was not well advertised and I didn’t even know the show existed until this week. I watched the first two episodes “legally” with commercials on-line and watched the third as it aired. So fa, every episode has been better than the last. If their are more people like me, who are… Read more »
The show is so boring, I am watching it now, and i’m bored to tears.
The article says the show is renewed for a 2nd season. Right now, the live ratings are above a 0.20 However, what will the ratings be next season? Considering how much the ratings have dropped on practically every SYFY show in its second season, this could be a 2 season stint. Enjoy it while it’s there.
Really hope hat they don’t planing to cancel this, butt after 2 episodes, ratings are really low. Too bad, this can be a new hit for horror fans, maybe is better to move this on YouTube, after all creepypasta stories become mainstream after youtubers start spreading the word.
This show has some good possibilities, but so far it is VERY slow moving, is hard to follow plot-wise, and needs to pickup the pace by quite a lot. I have given it 2 episodes – the first two – just to give it a fair chance as most new series drag the first couple of episodes while they set up characters, backstories, etc. I will give it one more and watch #3, but if it isn’t a lot better in terms of storyline and moving the plot along more quickly, that will likely be it for me. I’ll stick… Read more »
