*3/29/2022 update: Hallmark has renewed Chesapeake Shores for a sixth and final season.
I believe that Trace was the call Abby made to at the end of the season 5. This show is so good.
I like Chesapeake Shores and hope it stays for more seasons.
I love this show. Love the interactions between all the characters and family members. Please bring this show back next season.
Great show again this week. Would like to see too that the relationship with Abby and Evan will grow. Everything turned out ok with the plane accident. We definitely need season six. Hate to see season five final episode is next week. Please Do Not Cancel!!!!!!
Refreshing season. Was becoming too predictable with Jesse Metcalfe. I like the new Evan character. He is fun and unpredictable. Please develop their relationship. Episodes are more interesting now; this is keeping my attention as opposed to previous seasons. Dont cancel!
Love love Evan, his fun loving quirkiness and the depth of his character. Abby and Trace struggled way too much. Not fun to watch. I felt Trace was boring. It was time to move on and to shake things up with Evan. I’m looking forward to seeing their relationship evolve.
I’ve enjoyed watching this season. I do hope there are more seasons coming. At least a couple more.
I Love this show and everyone in it! Please don’t cancel the series! I look forward to my Sunday Nights with Chesapeake Shores.. I am hoping for next season…Great Show…
Chepeake shred is a giant note without jesse metcalf and the stores are disjointed and un interesting
I absolutely love Evan. He gives such a nice refreshing twist to the series. I hope he and Abby get together ❤. And I really hope there is a 6 and 7th season. Love this show
Good show. Can’t wait until next Sunday
The story lines this season lead me to believe they are ready to end the series.
If Jeft Mecalfe return and he and And Abby get together., it should be renewed.
Episode 5 was excellent – so much going on. I like how they focus on the family now – the O’Briens. Great to see Nell back & loved Connor clearing Mick’s name!
I am as many others very disappointed at the route and the bad writing of this season. There is no longer anything appealing since the main reason everyone (as posted in many forums) would watch this was taken from the story. Now, the stories don’t make any sense, they are all over the place, there is no context, from an appealing show that kept everyone on the edge of their seats and made them tune in every week now became a show as the main character puts it of a quest not to admit her errors, put the blame for… Read more »
Loved episode 3 – the scene between Mick and Luke was fantastic! And Evan is funny and offbeat.
Where is the theme? The stories are all over there is no context to follow. It is totally different from before. There were stories to follow and keep the viewers wanting more, now it is non existent
Couldn’t disagree more. Look, from your numerous posts we get it – you don’t like the new season. So don’t watch. But there are many who didn’t want more Trace & Abby. And what “edge of your seat” stuff are you talking about. Previous seasons had little to NO conflict. I like the new season, the stories “are all over” because now it’s more of an ensemble, it feels fresh, more of a family drama. We obviously disagree. Peace.
