What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Hallmark Channel television network, the Chesapeake Shores TV series stars Robert Buckley, Meghan Ory, Treat Williams, Laci J. Mailey, Emilie Ullerup, Brendan Penny, and Andrew Francis. The store explores the lives of the O’Brien family, after the homecoming of eldest daughter Abby O’Brien (Ory), a high-powered career woman and divorced mother of two. In season six, the O’Brien family comes together in the aftermath of Connor’s (Francis) heart attack. Jess (Maily) and David (Carlo Marks) start to deal with the media fallout after Dennis Peck (Malcolm Stewart) goes on the run, and lean on one another for support. Abby finally reveals to her family who she called at the end of season five and this leads to an unexpected yet exciting first date. Meanwhile, Mandrake (Wesley Salter) and Kevin (Penny) talk about their difficult past.

The sixth season of Chesapeake Shores averaged a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.47 million viewers in the live+same day ratings (includes all DVR playback through 3:00 AM). Compared to season five, that’s up by 30% in the demo and even in viewership. While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. There can be other economic factors involved in a show’s fate, but the higher-rated series are usually renewed and the lower-rated ones are cancelled. Wish that Chesapeake Shores would keep going after Season 6
Please keep this programme going ,it’s great ,there isn’t much on tv for people of my age group, please let us have something, we don’t want to see blood and guts all the time ,this is just lovely to watch .please don’t disappoint us and take it off.

I was just turned on this show ,I bench watch it in 2 days so I can watch season 6 on last Sunday, it was the best ever, fresh, simple, the characters were real ,Jess in David were my favorite. It was the most down to earth show I have seen in a long time, family oriented, I can go on in on , the family dynamics, not perfect but loving ,funny, sad ,emotional it had all its really sad that u are ending this show
Please revive this series. There are not too many wholesome television shows out there to watch. I am 63 and my husband and I love the series.

I am a loyal Chessie and have watch since the beginning! I love the new season! This show brings me such peace n comfort. I am sad it’s coming to an end. Also, I can’t help but miss Jesse Metcalf. It’s just not the same!

I think this show has run its course.
I have said this before and have not changed my mind. I stopped liking the show when the character of Trace left. The new love interest for Abby is a guy named Evan. A milk toast character who is followed around by a Butler. REALLY!
The writers have ruined this show.
