What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Hallmark Channel television network, the Chesapeake Shores TV series stars Robert Buckley, Meghan Ory, Treat Williams, Laci J. Mailey, Emilie Ullerup, Brendan Penny, and Andrew Francis. The store explores the lives of the O’Brien family, after the homecoming of eldest daughter Abby O’Brien (Ory), a high-powered career woman and divorced mother of two. In season six, the O’Brien family comes together in the aftermath of Connor’s (Francis) heart attack. Jess (Maily) and David (Carlo Marks) start to deal with the media fallout after Dennis Peck (Malcolm Stewart) goes on the run, and lean on one another for support. Abby finally reveals to her family who she called at the end of season five and this leads to an unexpected yet exciting first date. Meanwhile, Mandrake (Wesley Salter) and Kevin (Penny) talk about their difficult past.
Season Six Ratings
The sixth season of Chesapeake Shores averaged a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.47 million viewers in the live+same day ratings (includes all DVR playback through 3:00 AM). Compared to season five, that’s up by 30% in the demo and even in viewership. While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. There can be other economic factors involved in a show’s fate, but the higher-rated series are usually renewed and the lower-rated ones are cancelled. This show was a refreshing depiction of realistic family life with conflicts and resolutions. I thoroughly enjoyed this show and would have liked to see the court case through to the end, however, I appreciated the ending as the family gathered in their circle to share their thoughts.

I have really enjoyed watching this show. I really wish it wouldn’t have been canceled. I am really hoping maybe another network will pick it up because it’s heartfelt family shows like this that I really think people connect with. I know I really did. I don’t understand why the family shows like this one are the ones that end up getting canceled especially when people can relate to these everyday situations that happen on this show. Fingers crossed another network will see this and pick it up. Thanks.
Why do you get rid of all the clean family shows just to bring on violence and cussing and broken families.
Please continue this wonderful show. I have watched from the beginning and look forward to seeing it every season. The show is uplifting and just plan heart warming. I would love to see it for many many more seasons

Chesapeake Shores should be renewed I really enjoy all the season I wanna to see Abby get marry to Evan and enjoy her kids.
Chesapeake Shores should be renewed. However, the most suitable ending would be for Abby to tell Trace she made a mistake and for him to return and marry her.
The whole Evan and Abby storyline is cute, but adolescent and I thought Abby was looking for something more mature when she thought she outgrew Trace.
Another season may have brought more maturity with Evan and made the storyline believable, but so far it is not.
However, Chesapeake Shores is still a really good TV show and should have continued for many more seasons.
They should renew Chesapeake Shores. It is a great show. There are so many other worthless shows out there that are not worth watching. Chesapeake Shores is worth watching.

Please renew this for another few seasons as the characters can do so much more in all their lives, so Chesapeake Shores can continue for at least three more seasons.
