What’s in store for the new season of Chicago Med? Recently, executive producer Andrew Schneider spoke with TVInsider about season two of the NBC series.

The medical drama takes place in the trauma center of a Chicago hospital. The cast includes Oliver Platt, S. Epatha Merkerson, Nick Gehlfuss, Yaya DaCosta, Colin Donnell, Brian Tee, Torrey DeVitto, Rachel DiPillo, and Carl Lumbly.

In the interview, Schneider said the new season will be “a season of real change.” He teased a possible new romance for hospital administrator Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson), whose husband left her in season one. Also, the upcoming season will see new castmembers, including Ato Essandoh as new boss Isidore Latham.

Season two of Chicago Med premieres tomorrow, September 22nd, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
