Bailey’s music career has been cut short again. Netflix has cancelled Country Comfort so, there won’t be a second season of this multi-camera comedy series.
Created by Caryn Lucas, Country Comfort stars Katharine McPhee, Eddie Cibrian, Ricardo Hurtado, Jamie Martin Mann, Pyper Braun, Shiloh Verrico, and Griffin McIntyre, with Eric Balfour and Janet Varney in recurring roles. When her career and personal life get derailed, an aspiring young country singer named Bailey (McPhee) takes a job as a nanny for a rugged cowboy named Beau (Cibrian) and his five children. With a never-give up attitude and loads of Southern charm, the newbie-nanny is able to navigate the family dynamics and be the mother figure they’ve been missing. To her surprise, Bailey also gets the band she’s been missing in this musically talented family who help get her back on the road to stardom.
The series launched in March of this year with a first season of 10 half-hour episodes. There won’t be any more. The streaming service has also dropped comedies Bonding, The Crew, and Mr. Iglesias.
Unbelievable…..Of course its cancelled, who wants to watch a decent show anymore, when we can watch more crime drama shows instead. Apparently this is what America likes and it’s also what is wrong with America.
My 11 year old grandaughter is the one that introduced Country Comfort to me and we watched it together. Now we are disappointed that there will be no more shows.
This is sooo disappointing. The sit com was great because of the characters and the whole family and because of the great music they made together! It made me smile and feel good more than any show in a long long time. Everyone I know loves this show and we are not even country fans. I’d reconsidered that after watching the first season. there is so much dark and evil things thats getting more screen time, highly dissapointed that this feel good show was cancelled. was so looking forward to season two
This was a great show kept my interest, made me laugh and couldn’t wait for the next season. You should definitely give it a chance. Give us another season. At least tie up the loose ends and give the story line closure. This sucks.
Such a great show that’s feel good , but tugs at the heart strings. Reminded me of Reba mixed with full house. Super sad to see it was canceled. – Netflix reconsider your statement.
So sad Country Comfort was canceled. This show was awesome! Many of the shows I’m watching I get the end of the first season and find out they’re canceled. Frustrating.

Country comfort is a great show I watch it over and over. I love the cast the story lines. The good values and life lessons and the great music. Please bring it back.
I was disappointed that there will not be any continuation for Country Comfort. I have enjoyed the show (even watched it several times) and also the lovely songs. The series are just so touching with the good acting (and singing) from the actors and actresses. Hope Netflix could change its mind and continue with Season 2.

I am so very sad to find out that Netflix is canceling Country Comfort!! I was disappointed that I finished the season and there wasn’t another one yet. I was looking to see how quickly I could watch season 2 when I found this disappointing news.
What!?! There should be a season 2. Such a good show and so much more to see.. get with it Netflix!

Shame on Netflix for canceling Country Comfort. It was an entertaining show and then you cancel it with open story lines. At least give it a chance and have closure for the story lines if you are going to cancel it. Bad call!
