Another television series has crossed over to the great beyond. The Crossing TV show on ABC has been cancelled after one season. The thriller, which made its debut on April 3rd, premiered with low ratings, and things only got worse from there.
An ABC sci-fi drama, The Crossing stars Steve Zahn, Natalie Martinez, Sandrine Holt, Georgina Haig, Tommy Bastow, Rob Campbell, Rick Gomez, Marcuis W. Harris, Grant Harvey, Jay Karnes, Simone Kessell, Kelley Missal, Luc Roderique, and Bailey Skodje, with Luke Camilleri recurring. The story unfolds in the small Oregon fishing town of Port Canaan, when 47 evacuees from a war-torn country wash up on the shore. The newcomers aren’t just any refugees seeking asylum — they’re Americans from 180 years in the future.

I hate this! Thought I had found a show that I actually liked! It’s all about the ratings with these television stations. They should really have given this one some more time. I think they’re making a big mistake cancelling this show. It has some good content and is a great show!
I’ve binge-watching the first season on Hulu. I think it’s a good, interesting show. I’m sorry to hear that ABC apparently doesn’t feel the same way. But then they frequently axe shows after a single season, and that’s really unfortunate.
Just found the show on Hulu, really like it. Will watch last 4 episodes on cable. Hope another network picks it up.
Great show. I think if given the chance, it could have another run like Lost. Maybe NBC should pick it up.

What? and it was just getting interesting… good actors, great story line with many ways to go…bring it back or put it on netflix and let them carry it on.

Yes! Give it a chance. It has real depth in character development and a rich, complex but understandable storyline. It’s a fascinating premise with excellent actors. Don’t cancel it.
