Another television series has crossed over to the great beyond. The Crossing TV show on ABC has been cancelled after one season. The thriller, which made its debut on April 3rd, premiered with low ratings, and things only got worse from there.
An ABC sci-fi drama, The Crossing stars Steve Zahn, Natalie Martinez, Sandrine Holt, Georgina Haig, Tommy Bastow, Rob Campbell, Rick Gomez, Marcuis W. Harris, Grant Harvey, Jay Karnes, Simone Kessell, Kelley Missal, Luc Roderique, and Bailey Skodje, with Luke Camilleri recurring. The story unfolds in the small Oregon fishing town of Port Canaan, when 47 evacuees from a war-torn country wash up on the shore. The newcomers aren’t just any refugees seeking asylum — they’re Americans from 180 years in the future.

Amazing show! Why does everyone keep canceling amazing shows?! We loved Timeless on NBC and they canceled after the first season, as well. Luckily, they somehow were able to get it repealed, I guess, and it came back on 🙂 Now we’re waiting on Season 3! Is this possible for The Crossing to get it repealed somehow or get a second chance??? I’ll sign whatever petition, document, bring it back, etc. I need to to help it come back. Come on ABC, give The Crossing a chance to grow its audience. The series is just starting to get exciting.

I wish another network picks it up. It is a very good tv show, much better than many other renewed ones.
The Crossing is one of the best new shows on network, or any TV for that matter. Very original and intelligent, unlike the reality scrap that’s on ABC. I hope another network or service picks it up.

Noooooo! Please don’t cancel!! It’s not often I watch a show on regular television anymore, but I love this one. Seriously, what can we do to stop this from happening?
Please? The Crossing had the greatest suspense twists and not the sleaze that is so common in other shows. Character development was superb and could easily support several seasons.
Another case of insufficient marketing. I think most people who actually stumbled across this gem really enjoyed it. Stop canceling shows when they’re just getting started! The networks are going to lose more viewers if they continue cutting new shows so quickly.
