What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Deputy was created by Will Beall and stars Stephen Dorff, Yara Martinez, Brian Van Holt, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Shane Paul McGhie, and Mark Moses. The show follows an ensemble of ambitious and complicated people who won’t rest until justice is served. The story begins when the elected Sheriff of LA County dies and an arcane rule in the county charter suddenly thrusts the most unlikely man into the job. A true “white hat”, Bill Hollister (Dorff) is a fifth-generation lawman and is only interested in justice. His close team includes Deputy Cade Ward (Van Holt), Deputy Brianna Bishop (Taylor-Klaus), and Deputy Joseph Harris (McGhie). Hollister frequently butts heads with Doctor Paula Reyes (Martinez), chief trauma surgeon of LA County General Hospital and also, Hollister’s wife.

My family loves this show. Do not cancel
I loved this show right from the start. I,m retired from law enforcement. Great actors and some pretty good scenarios. Then approx 3 episodes ago you seem to have dropped the ball. The shoot outs where the chief just walks away to do other matters. The last one with his daughters party. He jumps on a horse after the truck is shot up? Let’s get real……I’m embarrassed for you. Great series to start but you need to fire the writers and hire new.
Love this show! It’s what law enforcement should be protecting the PEOPLE that VOTE them in office not the politicians looking to make THEMSELVES LOOK GOOD!!

This is one of the best shows on tv these days. I really like all the characters but especially Bill Hollister. He’s the epitome of how I feel a lawman should be: brave, efficient in his job, caring, smart and not politically correct. I love the interaction between his team. Please renew this show. It’s better than most stuff out there.
I absolutely love this show, and we didn’t find it until recently, so got it “on Demand”. I think Fox should renew it because it is a great show, and it began at a time when people were not paying attention to “new shows” as most begin in the Fall, and it was not given a proper amount of notice at the beginning of the year. Please Please consider the timing being less than ideal for a “new show” and especially one of this caliber. Bill Hollister has so much integrity, just what we need to see at this time… Read more »

I hope “FOX” renews ” DEPUTY” for a second season. Sheriff Hollister ‘s no -nonsense grit reminds me of “Buford Pusser.” The Lawman portrayed in the movie “WALKING TALL.” Standing for”TRUTH,” “HONOR” & “JUSTICE !”
