What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Deputy was created by Will Beall and stars Stephen Dorff, Yara Martinez, Brian Van Holt, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Shane Paul McGhie, and Mark Moses. The show follows an ensemble of ambitious and complicated people who won’t rest until justice is served. The story begins when the elected Sheriff of LA County dies and an arcane rule in the county charter suddenly thrusts the most unlikely man into the job. A true “white hat”, Bill Hollister (Dorff) is a fifth-generation lawman and is only interested in justice. His close team includes Deputy Cade Ward (Van Holt), Deputy Brianna Bishop (Taylor-Klaus), and Deputy Joseph Harris (McGhie). Hollister frequently butts heads with Doctor Paula Reyes (Martinez), chief trauma surgeon of LA County General Hospital and also, Hollister’s wife.

Generally, I do not reply about things like renewing a TV show, but this is very different. I know that the 1st season just concluded of The Deputy. Please renew this show for at least a 2nd season & we can go from there. All the characters are very good. The episodes are fantastic. I love the cowboy flair added in, because we have not seen anything like that in years. The stuff happening on the side within the families adds a personal touch also.

Please Please PLEASE bring back Deputy for a 2nd season! It reminds me a little bit of Walker Texas ranger with Chuck Norris (without the martial arts), but I love the character that Stephen Dorff plays.He is honest, hard working and takes no crap from the people who are trying to get him out of office. My family of 4 absolutely looks forward to seeing this come on so PLEASE bring it back for a 2nd season and hopefully many more!

This show is just terrible. Acting is forced and not believable. So Hollywood left wing slanted and it’s not even subtle about it. I could not even finish watching this season it was so bad. Definitely should be cancelled.
