What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, the Doubt TV show stars Katherine Heigl as Sadie Ellis; Elliot Gould as Isaiah Roth; Laverne Cox as Cameron Wirth; Dreama Walker as Tiffany Simon; and Kobi Libii as Nick Brady. Sadie is a brilliant attorney who starts to fall for her charismatic client. Pediatric surgeon Billy Brennan (Steven Pasquale) was recently accused of murdering his girlfriend, 24 years ago. Sadie has to hide her growing feelings from everyone, including her close friend and colleague, Albert Cobb (Dulé Hill). Getting involved with her client could put Sadie’s career and happiness at risk — particularly if Billy is found guilty. She must work all the harder to prove reasonable doubt, even while she has some doubts of her own.

Telly’s Take
As expected, CBS pulled the Doubt TV show from the schedule, back in February. While they have not officially cancelled it, it’s safe to say that they won’t be making any more episodes. I bow my head out of respect for another fallen series.
5/17 update: It’s official. There will be no second season of Doubt. Details here.
6/20 update: CBS will run the previously unaired season one episodes, beginning July 1st. Details here.

What do you think? Did you hope the Doubt TV show would be renewed for a second season? Did CBS cancel this TV series too soon?

Loved this show! I can’t believe they cancelled it. Please bring it back!
Love the show. CBS-listen to your viewers for a refreshing change. Please.
Enjoyed each show! Anticipated each week to see the next show – please bring it back for season 1.

Keep the show we love it
Absolutely loved the show and cast. Please bring back another season. Was absolutely glued to Saturday night doubt!!!!!!!!
cancelled??? NOoooooooooooooooooo we love it here in Manila
I hate to see this drama cancelled. I loved it
One of the best shows on TV…I really hope enough people want it back,
Loved this show! Please bring it back. So many storylines and great actors! Why doesn’t CBS get someone new at the helm that can distinguish between great shows and lousy shows! What about that Big Brother show?? That’s garbage and yet it stays on the air. Oh forgot, Julie’s married to the CBS exec. The show Doubt is excellent and keeps the viewer so involved. It’s nice to be able to watch an evening of tv without all the dead bodies, autopsies, etc. That is getting very old and tiring. Please, please bring back Doubt.
I enjoyed the show! The characters were great. Love the receptionist who asked the pig people how many chops you could get from a teacup pig and if they came with recipes! Nice twist at the end. Good actors. Want to see how they get Nick off!
What was the point in showing the rest of season one?
Leaving us with that kind of cliffhanger without a proper ending makes no sense!
We need a season 2!
We loved it!!! They seem to cancel shows before they give them a chance.
Acting was great and loved the story lines leaving you with just a little bit of suspicion and doubt. Sooo much better than grisly crime scenes and murder or mindless comedies.
This is really a fantastic show! Why was it always the good show got canceled, but the junk shows kept on screen? Shame on CBS!
