What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network,Emergence stars Allison Tolman, Alexa Swinton, Owain Yeoman, Ashley Aufderheide, Robert Bailey Jr., Zabryna Guevara, Donald Faison, and Clancy Brown. It takes place in Peconic Bay on Long Island, New York. In the series, Jo Evans (Tolman) is a newly divorced police chief and the mother of a teenage daughter named Mia (Aufderheide). Jo ends up taking in a young child named Piper (Swinton) who is found at the site of a mysterious accident and she has no memory of what happened. Jo’s investigation into the child’s mystery draws her into a conspiracy that is larger than she could have imagined. A series of bizarre electronic disruptions, unexplained forces, and a strange cryptic symbol are also all tied to the young girl. Other characters include: Jo’s father, Ed (Brown), who’s also battling cancer; Jo’s concerned ex-husband and Bree’s father, Alex Evans (Faison); investigator Benny Gallagher (Yeoman); Chris Minetto (Bailey Jr.), a police officer; and Jo’s best friend, Abby Frasier (Guevara), a pediatrician.

Will ABC cancel or renew Emergence for season two? The ratings have been dropping and weren’t all that great to start. The show does better in delayed viewing but I have doubts that that will be enough to save Emergence from being cancelled. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Left in suspense. You have to renew. Great show
I’ve been waiting for more to show up on my DVR. What no sweeps? Is it cancelled? Very bummed if it is. Something to watch finally that’s not about first responders in tightly wrapped episodes where the day is saved. I thought we were finally getting the scifi that fox dropped.
My husband and I want it to come back for a second season.
Love this show when I can find it. Please renew and please advertise it. And please if you could put on an hour earlier, old and young woul want to watch.
Hope emergence has 2nd season
This show Rocks! Please Do NOT cancel this quality show! With So much uninteresting sludge being heaped upon the average (zombie) viewers, this well acted, intriguing, contemporarily relevant, enjoyable drama deserves At Least a second season. Maybe increase the promotion of the the show by highlighting a revelation of some impending threat to humanity. Alien invasion comes to mind! Just a thought.

Since this is about the only show I watch on ABC, they might want to hang on to it and develop similar intelligent fare with excellent acting.
Love, love,love this show. The cast is fantastic, especially Alison Tolman. We need to find out more about Piper and what is going on. I like the romance between Jo and Brooks. Do not cancel this show!
This has been one of the few shows that I can sit down with my kids and watch from beginning to end. They are asking me all of the time when we can watch the next episode. Please renew this series.
I very rarely watch TV but I have made sure to watch every episode of season one. I taped every episode so I wouldn’t miss a show.
I will be extremely upset if Emergence is cancelled. I love the story and the actors.

Oui, c’est original, et Jo est convaincante dans son rôle. Cela mérite une saison 2. Sorry for my English. Yes it’s must be continue. It’s original. Jo play’s good and natural. Maybe a little bit more plots and thriller screenplay. France Paris, I saw all of them, the last episode the 05 mars 2020 on TF1.
I love it and I love the characters. Very different from so many other TV shows. I enjoy the interaction of the cast and am anxious to see it continue!
