Caitlin Snow finally has a mom. Entertainment Weekly reports Susan Walters has been cast in season three of The Flash.

Walters is no stranger to The CW. Previously, she played Carol Lockwood on The Vampire Diaries.

In season three, she’ll play Carla Tannhauser, the mother of Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and a “world class biomedical engineer and CEO of a major research company.”

The new season of The Flash premieres on October 4th.
