Is Frontier ending? Recently, star Jason Momoa revealed the Discovery Canada TV show will return for a fourth (and possibly final?) season.
The historical drama, which airs on Netflix in the U.S., centers on the rough and often violent North American fur trade of the late 18th century. In addition to Momoa, the series stars Alun Armstrong, Zoe Boyle, and Landon Liboiron.
On Instagram, Momoa revealed Frontier will return for a fourth season. Later, Momoa posted a message saying “Rest in Peace Declan,” suggesting season four may be the last for the Discovery Canada series.
Neither Discovery Canada nor Netflix have confirmed the news.

I really enjoy “Frontier”. I do not want to see it leave. It is so different than anything out there…I finally found a show that is not so predictable. Hate to see it end.
This show is one of the most entertaining and origional shows I’ve seen in a long time. Please renew it for a 4th 5th 6th etc seasons. I think this cast is incredible!
I think Jason Momoa continues to grow as actor during this series which I thoroughly enjoy. I believe he can have a productive acting career for himself given the opportunity. Please don’t stay in the “angry big man” wrappings Mr. Momoa, you are so much better than that.
I do not ever want Frontier to end.
I stumbled on to Frontier after the 1st season and loved it! Fantastic!! In todays television productions cashing in on established memories i.e. Magnum P.I. and many others, and not coming up with an original idea really turn me off. I should state I live in the PNW, and hate our US T.V. line-ups. I have been a loyal Canadian television viewer since Highlander the television series in the ’90s. And have been a fan of Jason Mamoa since his days on Stargate Atlantis. I realize he is wanting to move on into film and other projects, can’t fault him… Read more »
Shallow story line, repetitive theme (capture, torture or ?, escape repeat, repeat, repeat), poor acting. Cancellation would be merciful. Longmire and Godless much much better in everyway.

Frontier is one of the best series Netflix has. We will
be very sorry to see it end. He is one of the best leading men in film.
I do not want to see Frontier end. It is a great series but if it has to end do not leave anything dangling.
