NEW YORK (March 12, 2019) – Paranormal pioneer Bob Magill and empathic investigator Tina Storer take on frightening, personal hauntings in America in the cult classic “Ghost Bait,” lured back to television and premiering on Travel Channel on Thursday, April 4 at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT with 12 half-hour episodes. Using a shocking but effective method of isolation combined with sensory deprivation, the duo helps people overcome their fear of intense paranormal activity. After conducting their own paranormal investigation, Magill and Storer use their findings to elevate a client’s fear level and then use that terror as bait to draw out the entity and force a confrontation. By facing their worst fears head on, Magill and Storer believe the living can overpower the negative forces around them to reclaim their sense of peace and control.
“Bob and Tina are two of the most dedicated paranormal investigators out there, and the unique way they conduct their investigations will keep you on the edge of your seat. And fans can’t help but root for the haunting victims as they’re forced to face their worst fears,” said Jane Latman, general manager, Travel Channel.
In the premiere episode, Magill and Storer travel to the historic Brookdale Lodge in Santa Cruz, California, to investigate claims of an evil spirit bullying an employee named Agnes. The paranormal investigators discover the once famed hotel has a dark history filled with mysterious deaths and corruption. Agnes must overcome her deepest fears and challenge the oppressive entity plaguing her in order to continue her livelihood at the hotel. Isolated in the pool room, an area known for frightening activity, Agnes confronts the entity – alone. In the second episode of the night, Magill and Storer head to Monongahela, Pennsylvania, to investigate claims of paranormal activity terrorizing a young couple in their new home. During a chilling late-night investigation, the duo come face to face with a mysterious presence in the woods and capture a terrifying voice inside the house that repeats the phrase, “in a portal.” As a last resort, homeowners, Jason and Nina, are forced to confront their fear of the evil demon in order to reclaim their house.

What do you think? Have you seen Ghost Bait? Will you watch the new episodes?
This show is horrible, the guy is just obnoxious and irritating. If that girls an empath, I am full blown psychic. it’s just soo bad, had to leave a comment. make it go away, there were other investigation shows that were sooo much better
Absolutely stupid.
The burlap does nothing special for effects with the exception of making it even more asinine than it already is. Challenging spirits and entities is not a savvy way to obtain their attention either, you explain your presence and talk to them ad if they were alive, talk to them with some empathy.
No I won’t be watching this again, I can’t get the time back already invested either.
Booo
I’m a long time ghost show viewer since 2006, so far this is the most ridiculous, stupid and insensitive show that has nothing to do with helping the victim but exposing the person to a scary and possibly dangerous situation by telling them this is the only way they can help them by covering their head with a bag? The show is boring and it offers nothing more than sensationalism, take that garbage off the air and make space for a show worth watching.
This not a good show and sending those people already scared in alone to deal with the “ghosts” with their head covered by a burlap bag no less is nuts. Then have them challenge the ghost. I have seen many paranormal shows and all of them say do not challenge the entity unless you are a seasoned investigator, and even then it’s still dangerous. Its sad they have to scare people to get ratings. If someone said I’ll help you deal with your haunting but you have to sit alone in a room with your head covered, I would tell… Read more »
I’m sad to say that everything about this show is lame. I love paranormal investigation and related shows but I turned this off. Scripted, boring, and just wrong. The burlap bag jumped the shark.
Hi, this show was so bad I turned it off, and I binge watch and enjoy most of the others. This was so bad that I sought out a spot to leave a comment, something I have never done before, thank you for providing one. I don’t mean to be rude or critical but this one gets it wrong, Same places, chic just seems to be posing and making lame comments that any rookie learned 15 years ago. The guy seemed dis-interested and scripted. This show jumped the shark on paranormal shows. I would also add that there are more… Read more »
This is quite possibly the worst paranormal show I have ever TRIED to watch. While trying to understand the concept of this alleged real life event, right out of the box I’m incredibly distracted by that ominous beeping of the EMF detector. Every ghost show uses these type of gadgets, but this is the only one that reminds me of a smoke detector going off, and you know what that means…get out! This show is boring, unbelievable, and down right stupid!
I concur
This is one of the worst paranormal shows I have ever seen. I understand it was produced and canceled in the past, what I can’t figure out is why it was resurrected. These so-called experts don’t seem to care about the safety of the people they’re dealing with, only the sensationalism. Travel Channel has many great paranormal shows, but this is not one of them.
Please cancel show. Its not a good method to help people out. Very disappointed
Sorry. This is a lame show. First off, using a ragged, poorly stitched burlap bag to put over someone’s head is weird. Couldn’t they afford something better–even a pillow case would be better. There’s no depth to this show either, no full investigations delving into the history nor reasons for this haunting other than just a cursory few moments of having their sensors going off. This show just doesn’t have any substance to it, in fact, putting people in danger like this is lunacy should the haunting be real. Thumbs down on this show.
I generally enjoy Paranormal shows. I could barely make it through the 2 half-hour episodes of Ghost Bait. Same premise for each – a haunting, a terrified isolated person, sudden bravado and a resolution. So predictable and the male host is a monotone bore. The female host is an overreactor. Such a bad show!
Very good show lots of spooky scenes
Keep it up
I watched Ghost Bait back in 2013. It sucked then. No reason to think it won’t suck now.
I will watch Ghost Bait. I have never heard of it. I’m glad they’re putting more paranormal shows on . I wish they would bring paranormal lockdown back .
You will be changing your mind once you watch a couple of episodes. I thought the same thing, but after watching the program I came to the realization that this is a really bad,bad show. Worse Paranormal show that I ever watched!
Sweet, even more paranormal garbage on “travel” channel.
