After seven seasons and 156 episodes, it looks like we’ve seen the last of Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) and The Good Wife. Some have contended that the CBS series was one of the best dramas in the history of network television. The show, created by Robert and Michelle King, certainly had its ups and downs storywise (and was never a hit in the ratings) but it was widely respected and the network could point to it as a quality program.
All good things must come to an end but endings have always been a tricky proposition for dramatic television shows. When you look back through TV history, there aren’t a lot of truly satisfying last episodes.
What did you think of The Good Wife TV series finale? Was it a fitting ending to this award-winning drama?
