Are you a fan of Gotham? The FOX TV show has just returned from a long hiatus and is nearing the end of its third season. But, what about a fourth season? If renewed, would you keep watching the Batman prequel series?
The DC Comics drama tells the early stories of police detective James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and iconic Gotham City characters — before they became legendary crimefighters, villains, and heroes. The cast also includes Donal Logue, Morena Baccarin, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, and Erin Richards.
Gotham’s ratings have struggled over the course of its third season. Currently, the show is averaging a 1.13 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.45 million viewers. While not terrible, these numbers do mark a significant drop from season two, which averaged a 1.40 rating in the 18-49 demo and 4.09 million viewers. Does this mean the fans of Gotham are fleeing the city?
Even though it hasn’t been renewed yet, executive producer John Stephens has teased plans for a fourth season of the FOX series, hinting that Harley Quinn may be the central figure:
We’ll be seeing a Killer Croc proto-vision. We’ll also be seeing a character who, maybe not this season, but in time to come, can be seen as a forerunner to Harley Quinn. … We might see [her] in Episode 22. It’s crazy.”

We love Gotham!! All though we cant watch it when it appears, we record it on our on our DVR.. Dont cancel!!!

Terrific show that I look forward watching every week! One thing I hope the ratings are “hopefully” considering is in today’s rat race, people use DVR. With working late, kids, dinner etc…I look forward coming home to unwind and watch my recorded shows! Most of the shows I watch are recorded! Gotham is a great show, keep it going till season 10!!

Yes please Fox. This is the best DC comic-base series ever. Every character, the good, the bad, are awesome and impressive.
Gotham is omly one of two reasons i watch TV. If its not renewed ill never watch Fox again
I will be very surprised if this show isn’t renewed. I think it is so close to syndication that a renewal is a lock.
Of course even though FOX put the show on hitatus it is still a good show that many people enjoy watching on Monday Nights but let’s just hope FOX does not do the put Gotham/Lucifer on break again next fall just to see if two shows were gonna do well on Mondays
