It looks like Harry has had it. Variety reports the syndicated TV show has been cancelled after two seasons.
Hosted by Harry Connick Jr., the talk show premiered in September 2016 and features celebrity interviews, games, and current news. The series runs on FOX-owned stations throughout the country.
According to Variety, Harry will continue taping through September. Read below for Connick Jr.’s statement regarding the cancellation:
I have truly loved doing this show and appreciate your welcoming me into your homes every single day. I’m incredibly proud of the show we produced over the past two seasons. We tried to create a safe place where families could gather to be entertained, uplifted and inspired and where we could celebrate everyday women who work hard to make our world a better place. I am truly grateful for the opportunity and will continue to find avenues to uplift our country.”
What do you think? Do you watch Harry? Are you sad the show’s been cancelled?
Bring The Harry Show back, His show was uplifting an something to look forward to every day. What a GREAT guy Harry is . We need more tv shows like His
I am very disappointed that you have cancelled Harry. I watched him everyday. I don’t understand cancellation. And the couple you replaced him with are not professional or charismatic in every way. Harry was charismatic. Please consider returning him or moving to another network. Thank you.
I had watched Harry from the first shows. I didn’t know it was cancelled until today when it should have been on. I didn’t watch as much throughout the summer because there were reruns. If I had known it was cancelled, I would have watched them. This makes me sad. “Harry” was fun, entertaining, helpful, honest, and of excellent quality. There are too many talk shows that do nothing but demean and criticize, and put down so much. Sad when bad wins out over good.
The Harry Connick, Jr. Talk Show was one of my favorites! It was a show that you could watch and go away feeling uplifted and better for having watched it, there aren’t many shows in the world today you can say that about! I will truly miss the show! I’m wondering/hoping if it’s possible that a cable channel might pick the show up!?!
I loved Harry’s show and watched it all the time. So sad NBC decided to cancel this for some not so exciting shows to come. I won’t watch.
I really miss Harry’s show; he is an entertainer, a caring human and a genuine person.
The station now has Kelly and Josh on in his place now, stupid, stupid show.
Harry had interesting guests, gave advice, remained neutral and showed love for his fans and family.
Bring him back, at least Ellen is still on.
This make me so sick His show was the only show you would let you kids watch. It was clean, fun. Just great entertainment for all ages.
If any show need too be taken off TV is the VIEW. OMG. I sure would not let my kids watch that show
We a lot of people Love the Harry Show!!!
Put HARRY BACK ON TV
My husband and I both loved Harry’s show. We are so sad it has been canceled. What are chances we can get the show back on the air again. Every afternoon we had a cup of cappuccino and settled into our recliners for an hour of entertainment. PLEASE bring back the Harry show.
I am VERY upset over the cancellation of the HARRY show. I watched it every day. I loved Harry’s talent and consider him awesome in every respect. Can’t we get a campaign going to get Harry back on TV? I would like to be the first to ask/beg/plead for the return of the Harry show!!!
So disappointing! I loved the entertainment, and his band! Harry’s passion for the arts was a welcoming change, just a good time and no political views! I will truly miss not having to watch the show when I get home from a long day of work! I hope that perhaps the show could go on again some day. Heart broken ……
I am very sorry to see this show cancelled. We enjoyed the diversity and variety of guests and topics Harry presented. Wish he could have had a “good bye” show. I had to search the Internet to find out what happened – he will be missed.
Harry was a fabulous show I watched everyday. If I needed a happy uplifting hour in my day Harry was always there. Harry Connick shared tremendous music with us and had a very warm sense of style when interviewing guests. Please bring him back on the air because our country needs him badly!!!
I loved watching Harry. I enjoyed his singing and piano playing and I will certainly miss him. Right now I have to be awake at 1AM to view reruns. Not to happy about this.
my wife and I love harry show I think you take shows off that are real good leave show that are realy bad
I’m so sorry this show is being taken off the air. I truly enjoyed it…it was really the only daytime TV talk/variety show I watched in the afternoon/evenings. It was such fun and well done. Not divisive or confrontation…just good entertainment. Very sad to see it go.
