Last year, in Last Man Standing’s first season on FOX, the sitcom got off to a very strong start but the ratings dwindled as the season progressed. Some would argue that cast changes were the cause of the decline. Will the numbers continue to fall in season eight or, will they bounce back? Will Last Man Standing be cancelled or renewed for season nine? Stay tuned.
Airing on the FOX television network, Last Man Standing stars Tim Allen, Nancy Travis, Hector Elizondo, Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders, Molly McCook, Jordan Masterson, Jonathan Adams, and Krista Marie Yu. Guest stars include Kaitlyn Dever, Jet Jurgensmeyer, Jay Leno, Terry Bradshaw, Susan Sullivan, Tisha Campbell, and Bill Engvall. The series revolves around Mike Baxter (Allen), the marketing director of the Outdoor Man sporting goods stores and a “man’s man”. His family doesn’t see eye-to-eye with him so it can sometimes be a little tough for Mike to stand his ground and stay in touch with his inner man.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Last Man Standing. I’ll admit the old cast is better but this is the ONLY show that continuously makes me laugh hysterically. It’s so down-to-earth with common sense reality. It takes ALOT to make me laugh…and this show does it. I used to like Gray’s Anatomy (my husband hated it), but, it became waaaaay to leftie/liberal and even I stopped watching it. Yuck!
the best show on fox but I do miss the old mandy the new one isn’t bad just doesn’t pull off the jokes like the last and I hope they go back to the original theme I hate that they’re getting a little mushy more funny moments less life lessons pls
Please, please, please get rid of Jen! Her character is abrasive and does not fit well with the rest of the cast. Am I the only one that thinks that having a 32 year old playing a high school student is just wrong? I would also like to see Molly Ephraim come back as Mandy. She brought life to that character. Jenn? Abrasive? If you think Jenn is abrasive then you shouldn’t vote for the show to continue. This show is about reality in our midst of what we all our society! Abrasive is Mike, but we love him because he tells it like it is. If you hadn’t googled her or microscopically dissected her profile, you would never had known. Have you seen Ephraim’s profile and the way she really dresses? Not that anyone cares. IT’S THE CHARACTERS THEY PORTRAY! That’s the whole point of a character on the screen. Best show on TV. My husband and I love it, and we don’t often watch the same types of shows. My favorite years were with the original Kristen, but have become accustomed to the cast changes. I still DVR all the re-runs. Please don’t cancel this show!

My husband and I love Last Man Standing!!! Please renew for season 9. Great messages and we haven’t laughed so much together watching another show.
We used to love Last Man Standing… but it’s not funny anymore… Try getting rid of the laugh track, the not at all funny & only abrasive Asian girl & get new writers!

Please keep last man standing – we love it! It was difficult getting used to the actress change, but we have now. We love our little exchange student! She’s hilarious! We’d be devastated if you cancelled it!! It’s the best show on TV but wish it was an hour show! We’d love it even more!!
It is going to happen! Although characters come and go, we should take consideration of who the main character is and why it is so funny. Mike brings things together. If you take him out will it make a big difference? Of course. Eve is gone, but I’m sure someone hated her too. So much hate in the world. Be the change and adopt to it. 🙂
Fox please renew “LAST MAN STANDING” for seasons nine and ten. We love the show, and look forward to watching it every week. Tim Allen and the cast are great. Good family show !! Really hope to watch new season this fall

there is no douth in my mind that the casting changes of the last man standing has killed this series.
No way – took a little while to get used to it but I like the new Mandy now. It’s always hard to get used to character changes, especially when it is so drastic, but the humor and the fun is still there!!
The losses of Molly Ephraim, Kaitlyn Deaver and Robert Forster and the addition of the exchange student just doesn’t work. I know they added her for contrast but her character doesn’t work. Her sarcasm is forced and unrealistic.

this may have been the case from season 1-6 but after that with the new cast it became a R.I.P series. it so sad since i love this series from the get go but after fox canseld it at season 6 end it was just torture to watch season 7-8 if they fix there mistake and get old cast back it could have the same live span as any series, it is way better that grey,s anatomy and that has like 10 seasons if not more

Totally Agree with you. All this happened because of Disney that didn’t think it was appropriate anymore. YEAAAAAAH, FOR THE PEOPLE THAT CANT STAND TO HEAR WHAT THE REAL WORLD IS ABOUT! And Grey’s Anatomy is filled with nothing but SMUT. But I guess that is what a major part of society is made up of; not finding it offensive.
RIGHT!!!! THAT’S EXACTLY RIGHT! Since when do we have to stop being “ALL AMERICAN”? Keep it real! And yes, Jenn may be Asian, but aren’t some of our Multi-Cultural families in America.
