What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Last Man Standing stars Tim Allen, Nancy Travis, Hector Elizondo, Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders, Molly McCook, Jordan Masterson, Jonathan Adams, and Krista Marie Yu. Guest stars include Kaitlyn Dever, Jet Jurgensmeyer, Jay Leno, Terry Bradshaw, Susan Sullivan, Tisha Campbell, and Bill Engvall. The series revolves around Mike Baxter (Allen), the marketing director of the Outdoor Man sporting goods stores and a “man’s man”. His family doesn’t see eye-to-eye with him so it can sometimes be a little tough for Mike to stand his ground and stay in touch with his inner man.
Season Eight Ratings
The eighth season of Last Man Standing averaged a 0.74 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.25 million viewers. Compared to season seven, that’s down by 32% in the demo and down by 26% in viewership. Find out how Last Man Standing stacks up against other FOX TV shows.

I’m glad Last Man Standing was picked up by FOX. It’s still one of the smartest, funniest comedy series on television. It’s been an adventure watching the characters grow, including Mike and Vanessa learning to deal with empty nest syndrome. I think there’s still life in the show, and the characters. The cast is strong, including the new additions, and I love Mike’s Outdoor Man vlogs, which cleverly sum up the theme of each episode. I watch very little tv.
I have been watching Tim Allen since Home Improvement. Please 9th season would be great! This show is a family show! We need more shows like Tim Allen’s show. It makes us laugh & the msg each week makes us think & family discussions which are good.

I love LMN. I am absolutely addicted to the show! It is my hope to see many more seasons after season Eight. I do not have live television, so, I watch the show on Hulu. It makes me wonder about the statistics of how many people are really watching it. Probably many people who love and watch are not being counted. Now, just one more thing I would like to touch on. Praying that Last Man Standing, which is THE BEST show on TV, will be renewed for a Ninth Season (and beyond). I would add that half an hour is too brief. The time slot for Season Eight was horrible — sandwiched between ultra-liberal shows. Is there any way for fans to influence the decision makers to renew the show AND change the time slot?

Love Last Man Standing!!!! I think it would be much better if they brought back the original Mandy!!! I am not a fan of the Mandy they have now. She isn’t a very good actress.They also need to get rid of Jen!!!
