TV show description:
This action drama series reimagines the movie franchise and follows a cop duo as they work a crime-ridden beat in modern-day Los Angeles.
Grief-stricken after the loss of his young wife and unborn child, ex-Navy SEAL-turned-detective Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) moves to California to “start over” at the LAPD.
He’s paired up with Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans). He’s just coming back to the job after a near-fatal heart attack. Riggs’ penchant for diving headfirst into the line of fire immediately clashes with Murtaugh’s prudent, by-the-book technique.
When Captain Brooks Avery (Kevin Rahm) assigns them to their first case together, Riggs drags Murtaugh into a high-speed chase culminating inside the Long Beach Grand Prix and a seaport shootout with drug dealers. Despite his protests, the older cop feels more alive than he has in years.
Meanwhile, Riggs gets a glimpse of why Murtaugh is so determined to get home safely at the end of each day — he’s got a wife, Trish (Keesha Sharp), teenagers Roger Junior (Dante Brown) and Riana (Chandler Kinney), and a newborn baby.
Riggs’ life-on-the-edge attitude makes him a priority case for the department’s psychologist, Doctor Maureen “Mo” Cahill (Jordana Brewster).
Rounding out the precinct is Scorsese (Johnathan Fernandez), a pathologist with the LAPD who got his nickname after a stint in film school (which no one will let him forget).
By the time their first investigation ends, Riggs realizes he may have found something worth living for — a partner and friend, Murtaugh. And even Murtaugh figures this arrangement might just work out after all. If only Riggs doesn’t get them killed first.
Episode #55, “The Spy Who Loved Me”
When Cole is investigated by the FBI, Murtaugh is forced to question his loyalty to his own partner. Meanwhile, Cole works a case that puts Natalie’s fiancé, Andrew, into the crosshairs right before their wedding day.
First aired: February 26, 2019
What do you think? Do you like the Lethal Weapon TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for season four on FOX?
I think the show is much like the movie only better without bad language.
Riggs was the show. But now its ruined because there was to much entitlement going on…god it was like the nfl all over again do your job leave your facebookin opinions out of it.
Lethal Weapon was my favorite TV show when Clayne Crawford was starring in the episodes.
Damon Wayons is not a leading man and is not making the show interesting. The show will be canceled without Crawford. Too bad.
Apparently, Warner Bros. failed to realize which was the real main character, and which was the real lead actor. Foolish beyond belief. Are we living in a world where everyone with a hint of temper will get fired? It’s time that tolerance for a variety of temperaments are tolerated, including the more passionate ones. If not, we can look forward to a lot of bland nothings coming out of Hollywood. Well, a lot more of blander nothings. If a single soul watched this show because of Damon Wayans, who was the show’s worst actor by a clear margin, I can’t… Read more »
The worst tv show from the moment that Clayne Crawford not is there,we miss him
Love it – can’t wait for it to air!!
FOX network did not listen to the viewers. The actors on this series are great with one exception and he is still on show. I have not nor will I watch one epidosde of season 3 due to FOX’s inability to listen or address the consumer. Moreover, DKW insulted all of the fans on twitter which was a gross display OF an entitled, tasteless, man. Clayne Crawford and the cast that was let go should be relieved. The character Riggs made the show and he is a great character actor. Shame on you FOX.
Blah
I feel cheated as a viewer that because 2 adults have issues that with help, I am sure can be worked out, I lose one of my favorite shows. Nothing against Scott but he is no Clayne Crawford! I look forward to this ever since it started. Riggs brought attention to what can happen in alcoholic relationships combined with severe deoression. It showed that there was no shame in getting help. The comedic aspect of this show was excellent. Family relationships living law enforcement was another good part of this show. Clayne states it was a safety issue that he… Read more »
Please continue the show. Both actors were good. Hope they can resolve their issues and get on with their great show.

CLAYNE CRAFORD IT IS NOT A SHOW WITHOUT HIM…U NEED TO RECONIZE… I WILL MISS THE SHOW
Clayne Crawford made the show. Damon Wayans is a big baby and wasn’t that great. I hope some other show picks him up and puts him because Crawford is that good. I will never watch Lethal Weapon again.
OMG, I can’t really believe you did this to Clayne Crawford and the show. I have cancelled every Fox show their is. Damon Wayans sucks. I hope in September 2018 this show gets cancelled. It wasn’t Damon that made the show but Clayne. By the way Matt Miller and Peter Roth you both should be ashamed of yourself. The three of you overgrown big babies need to get out of show business and what the hell Warner Bros you are unbelievable . You can see by the comments below that Clayne was the star not DAMON….. We all know why… Read more »
