A&E wants more Live PD. Today, the network announced they’ve ordered more episodes of the freshman TV series.
The show “showcases the policing of America by following six diverse police departments in real time as they patrol their communities on a Friday night.”
A&E has extended season one of Live PD to 21 episodes. The series airs on Friday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

NEW YORK, NY – FEBRUARY 1, 2017 – A&E’s “Live PD” has extended its season one run for a total of 21 episodes. The network’s original series boldly showcases the policing of America by following six diverse police departments in real time as they patrol their communities on a Friday night. New episodes continue Friday nights at 9PM ET/PT with two extra episodes on Saturday, February 4 and February 11 at 9PM ET/PT.
Since its premiere in October 2016, ‘Live PD’ has averaged 1.1 million total viewers a week in Live+7 viewing. It has out-performed A&E’s regular primetime average by 29% with total viewers. The series has also been nominated for a Director’s Guild Award in the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Reality Programs category.

David Doss, former news executive producer at CNN, ABC and NBC, serves as show runner for the series. Host Dan Abrams brings over 20 years of reporting and anchoring to the table and currently serves as the Chief Legal Analyst for ABC News.
Executive producers for Big Fish Entertainment are Dan Cesareo, David Doss, George McTeague, Kara Kurcz and John Zito. Executive producers for A&E Network are Elaine Frontain Bryant, Shelly Tatro and Sean Gottlieb. A+E Networks holds worldwide distribution rights for “Live PD.””

I absolutely love love love this show. Can’t see why more police departments would not want to be standing in line to be part of this.
I love this show all so I watch it every week but they have too many commercials
