A&E has cancelled Longmire after three seasons. The cable channel issued a statement that said, “We would like to thank the phenomenal cast, crew and producers of Longmire, along with our partners at Warner Horizon, for their tireless work on three seasons of quality dramatic storytelling.”
Word is that Warner Horizon plans to shop the series to other outlets so a fourth season may still happen.
Longmire follows the life of a Wyoming county sheriff who’s returned to work following his wife’s demise. With the support of his family and co-workers, he solves cases and works to stay in office. The cast includes Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Bailey Chase, Adam Bartley, Cassidy Freeman, and Lou Diamond Phillips.

My wife and I add our votes, too: KEEP IT ON! It has been an outstanding series, and the actors, all of them, have been cohesive and a great troupe. The story lines have been fantastic! It has had its own unique feel and it deserves to continue for Season 4 and beyond. My wife and I have been faithful for EVERY EPSIODE and will do so for the remainder!
Renew Longmire. Such a great show. Hopefully someone else will pick it up if A&E doesn’t renew Longmire.
I can not believe with so much junk on t.v. that they cancel Longmire! Please someone pick it up so we can continue watching a truly great show!!!!
I think it is a shame that a good and wholesome show like “Longmire” is cancelled while shows like the Kardashians and other trash is left on television. This says as lot for us as a society, and what it says is not good!! A man like Longmire is someone to be admired and is reminiscent of better times. (That he is easy on the eyes is a plus!)

Why did you cancel the best show on t.v.? Just to put some trash like “Love Prison” on and really insult us. Please reinstate Longmire.
What must we do to get Longmire back??? There aren’t that many really good shows that appeal to intelligent grownups any more. I guess this 70-year-old will be taking her disposable income and RUNNING, not walking, away from A&E !!!

My family and I love watching Longmire. I feel you’re making a mistake of cancelling it. We would love to see a season 4. Hopefully another network picks it up.
NOOOOOO!!!! Its one of the best, most interesting shows on TV ever! Why would they do that? there’s so much sucky horrible assinine reality tv. Its just so hard to find something that someone took the time to write and write well! So much tv is crap these days and then they finally make a good show I can stomach and they cancel it! WHHHYYYY?????
