Lucifer fans may be in luck. According to Deadline, Netflix is considering a possible sixth season for the TV show.
The comedy-drama series centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) crack cases. The cast also includes DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez.
Last year, Netflix announced Lucifer would return for a fifth and final season in 2020. However, it now seems season five may not be the end after all. According to Deadline, the streaming service is in talks with Lucifer EPs Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson for a sixth season. Nothing official has been announced yet, but Deadline says sources are “optimistic” for another season.

I’m really looking forward to more Lucifer. There’s so many more possibilities for us to explore. I’d like to see a season 6, 7, and possibly 8 and beyond

Yes yes yes a season 6 would be awesome. LUCIFER is not just another comedy /cop show. It also makes you think! I mean its LUCIFER and he finds himself loving and doing good in the world and making the right choices. A fallen angel that CAN overcome the evils of this world. It’s a brilliant take on it and I look forward to more. Thank you
