TV show description:
This horror black comedy series is based on the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg for DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint. It’s the story of the original fallen angel — Lucifer.
Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. There, he owns an upscale nightclub named Lux. Charming, charismatic, and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in a few of his favorite things — wine, women, and song.
His bliss is disturbed when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of his club. For the first time in roughly 10 billion years, he feels something awaken deep within him as a result of this murder. Could it be (perish the thought) compassion or sympathy?
These thoughts disturb both Lucifer and his best friend and confidante, Mazikeen aka Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt). Maze is a fierce demon who’s taken the form of a beautiful young woman.
The murder outside the club attracts the attention of LAPD homicide detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). She’s initially dismissive of Lucifer but she soon becomes intrigued by his talent for drawing out people’s secrets. Chloe also likes his desire to dispense justice, doling out punishment to those who deserve it.
As they work together to solve the pop star’s murder, Lucifer is struck by Chloe’s inherent goodness. Accustomed to dealing with the absolute worst of humanity, Lucifer is intrigued by Chloe’s apparent purity and begins to wonder if there’s hope for his own soul yet.
At the same time, God’s emissary, an angel named Amenadiel (DB Woodside), has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to the underworld.
Can the Devil incarnate be tempted toward the side of Good — or will his original calling pull him back toward Evil?
Episode #93 — Partners ‘Til the End
Desperate to rescue Rory, Lucifer and Chloe confront her kidnapper with guns and wings blazing. Lucifer finally comes to terms with his purpose.
First aired: September 10, 2021.
What do you think? Do you like the Lucifer TV show? Should it have been cancelled or renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
I adore this role showing EVEN Lucifer has feelings of love! I beg you PLEASE reconsider the canceling of this series! I’d hate most shows on most stations…..but I can’t get enough of your Lucifer!!!! DON’T let this show End…..please KEEP IT GOING GUYS!!!!
May 28 there will the 2 stand-alone episodes airing so we need to tune in and show FOX that we Lucifans want Lucifer renewed.
Dear IGNORANT television executives…… GET ******. You ruin television by putting nothing but stupid garbage on. And the only good shows you ALWAYS cancel. Because of your actions is making me drop any cable television and NOT ever watch your stations again. PS cancelling shows just because football needs spots on Thursday means you should cancel the THURSDAY show and not mondays which were decent. 4.1 million views live plus 1.1 million dvrd is not bad ESPECIALLY FOR THE BEGINING OF THE WORK WEEK WHEN MOST PEOPLE ARE SLEEPING TO PAY TO WATCH YOUR OTHER ****** PROGRAMS.
I love Lucifer !!!!! why !! why !!! was it canceled ????? so sad
Please do not cancel this show. It seems that is it is not some trainwreck reality show you don’t think the viewer will tune in. Please not all of us want to be dulled into a stupor. If FOX cannot ee the value of this show I hope another network does. Listen up sponsor becasue I and a lot of other folks will follow this show to who ever picks it up.
I agree 100% Liz!!!!
I LOVE Lucifer!! It’s such fun, how could Fox cancel it?? There’s nothing like a good yarn, which is way better than all the reality drivel that you can’t even get away from. If it truly is cancelled, the network better start preparing “Lucifer, the Movie”. I predict Lucifer the TV show will become a cult phenomenon just like Firefly and the original Star Trek. And the Fox executive who made the decision will wind up with just as much egg on his face.
It took NBC years to recover from the cancellation of Star Trek.
Really?????? You are cancelling Lucifer AND the exorcist? Those are the only two shows I watch! unreal…just unreal
OMG how can you do this and cancel Luci!!! especially with how the series ended. I am devistated!!!!
What stupid over paid executive came up with cancelling such a popular show. I hope he is out looking for work.
I can’t believe you cancelled one of the most entertaining shows on. What are you some kind of stupid.
Please do not cancel Lucifer. This is a really entertaining show. The 3 of us can’t wait till Monday night to watch it. I can’t believe that with the shows ratings that it’s going to be cancelled. There aren’t many good shows left to watch and this one is one of the best. . All the rubbish and stupid reality shows aren’t even being considered to be cancelled. I don’t know who picks the shows to cancelled but their taste sometimes is questionable as to what people like.
You can’t be serious! Cancelling Lucifer, the best show on TV! Please don’t do it!
Really enjoyed watching Lucifer! Monday nights will never be the same……..
Really annoyed this has been cancelled so soon. It’s fun and the characters are great. All the reality rubbish that goes on and on, but decent stuff is dropped
I am devastated that Lucifer has been cancelled…and after such a cliffhanger…bring it back or I will seriously reconsider staying with FOX…I know alot of people feel the same way
