Madam Secretary is getting ready for its final bow. The finale for the drama is scheduled to air next month, and the finale will feature some very special guests. The episode is titled “Leaving the Station.” The cast of the series features Téa Leoni, Tim Daly, Željko Ivanek, Patina Miller, Erich Bergen, Wallis Currie-Wood and Kevin Rahm.
CBS revealed those guests in a press release. Check that out below.
“The series finale of MADAM SECRETARY will feature a host of esteemed guest stars who will help celebrate the critically acclaimed series’ six-year run. The episode will air Sunday, Dec. 8 (10:30-11:30 PM, ET/10:00-11:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.
In the series finale, members of the World Cup Champion U.S. Women’s Soccer team, Crystal Dunn, Allie Long, Ashlyn Harris and Ali Krieger, visit the White House to help Elizabeth (Téa Leoni) kick off a new landmark political initiative. Cicely Tyson guest stars as Flo Avery, who was born the day women were granted the right to vote, and joins the soccer stars at the White House. Tyne Daly guest stars as Senator Amy Ross from Ohio, who opposes the initiative.
Also, Grammy Award winner and music icon Peter Frampton performs during a McCord family celebration. Previously, Frampton performed during the series’ fifth season.”
So far, season six of Madam Secretary has averaged 4.211 million viewers.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Madam Secretary? Are you sad to see the series end?
Yes, I am a huge fan – I have been watching since the first episode on season one! Please keep this show on – there are so many bad shows, so please keep the good one!!!
..I have loved Madam Sec for all 6 seasons..and have watched the 1st 5 seasons multiple times..I will miss Elizabeths and Henry’s love of each other, family and country..great show..salute to all cast and crew for an excellent job well done..am anxiously awaiting the last 3 episodes..thank you for 6 lovely years of enjoyment especially in our unfortunate real-time disaster that hopefully ends Nov 2020..goodbye McCord’s….
One of my favorite shows on TV
I Am a fan and will miss it. What a shame when it went from madam secretary and she became the first woman president viewership declined and you have cancelled the show. What does that say about women leaders? And CBS’s commitment to change the paradigm long term?
It was also a shame that it it rotes today’s politics too much.
Would very much like Madam Secretary to be continued. Will miss this program!
This review says it all. Bring it back!
Currently the best show on television. Not as good as West Wing but always fresh and thought provoking. We need more shows like this one
Looked forward to Sunday evening for really good tv! Great writing and cast! So sorry for the decision to end it
Yes. I am sad to see the show end. So relevant and humorous at times.
Currently the best show on television. Not as good as West Wing but always fresh and thought provoking. We need more shows like this one.
I love Madam Secretary. It is smart and timely and the characters are deep and well rounded. Such a shame it is ending.
The writing, acting and directing of this show is superb! It represents the government I wish we had, and probably could have if there weren’t so many egos involved and both sides were willing to work together for the good of the entire country – not just the few at the very top of the income ladder.
Will miss this greatly. Loved the series!!
Madam Secretary is my favorite show. I watch it every week. I am very very sorry it will not be continuing. It is a one-of-a-kind.
I’m really going to miss it. I love all the characters and all the actors. And the scripts are brilliant!
