Madam Secretary is getting ready for its final bow. The finale for the drama is scheduled to air next month, and the finale will feature some very special guests. The episode is titled “Leaving the Station.” The cast of the series features Téa Leoni, Tim Daly, Željko Ivanek, Patina Miller, Erich Bergen, Wallis Currie-Wood and Kevin Rahm.
CBS revealed those guests in a press release. Check that out below.
“The series finale of MADAM SECRETARY will feature a host of esteemed guest stars who will help celebrate the critically acclaimed series’ six-year run. The episode will air Sunday, Dec. 8 (10:30-11:30 PM, ET/10:00-11:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.
In the series finale, members of the World Cup Champion U.S. Women’s Soccer team, Crystal Dunn, Allie Long, Ashlyn Harris and Ali Krieger, visit the White House to help Elizabeth (Téa Leoni) kick off a new landmark political initiative. Cicely Tyson guest stars as Flo Avery, who was born the day women were granted the right to vote, and joins the soccer stars at the White House. Tyne Daly guest stars as Senator Amy Ross from Ohio, who opposes the initiative.
Also, Grammy Award winner and music icon Peter Frampton performs during a McCord family celebration. Previously, Frampton performed during the series’ fifth season.”
So far, season six of Madam Secretary has averaged 4.211 million viewers.

The series was fabulous. The writers were superb. I wish our elected officials were this good. I’m very very sad to see the show end. With that many viewers, I don’t understand why it’s canceled
One of my favorites and speaking from experience it shows the true side of politics. Guess it wasn’t violent enough for today’s viewers.
Why oh why is this being cancelled?? I look forward to this show all week. We finally have an intelligent program about women in power, and it gets cancelled?! Please, don’t do this!
Need to make a new show with her as the President
The show has changed so much. Not as good. Sometimes I wonder if her husband is president. What’s up with her hair it is so messy. Terrible. The story lines just for politics today and what is going on. Where are the writers. I’m glad its ending I’ll watch the reruns on net flicks

Please try to bring it back and do it at a decent hour, so maybe more people will watch

I will sure miss Madame Secretary, have looked forward to it each week and greatly enjoyed the cast, and the characters they made so real. Great show!

I think that it’s ashame that this show is going off. Such great actors and actresses. I just hope it’s not because she gets impeached. I hope to see this show get renewed. It would be a blessing.
The show started out good but became very liberal so I stopped watching. Glad to see it end

Yes!! This has been an excellent series. I wish you would update it to “Madame President” and finish out her term.
Great show it should of continued with her as President. Every time there is a good strong woman’s role it gets cancelled.
Great series that would have gained much greater popularity in an earlier time slot.
