What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC supernatural drama, Midnight, Texas stars François Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Arielle Kebbel, Jason Lewis, and Peter Mensah. Guest stars in the second season include Michael Harney, Mindy Sterling, Adam Langdon, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Jaime Murray, and Nick Lee. The series unfolds in the remote Texas town of Midnight, a haven for those hiding out from the world. There, only outsiders belong, while normality is just plain weird. The townies come together to form a sort of chosen family. Together they fend off external pressures from nosy police officers, vicious biker gangs, and their own dark pasts. Midnight, Texas is based on the book series of the same name, from True Blood author Charlaine Harris.

Telly’s Take
Will NBC cancel or renew Midnight, Texas for season three? The ratings were low during the show’s first season (which aired during the summer months) and the numbers have been awful in season two. Honestly, I can’t see this series being renewed. I’ll keep a hungry on the ratings and update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for Midnight, Texas cancellation or renewal alerts.

What do you think? Were you hoping that Midnight, Texas would be renewed for a third season? Are you sorry that NBC cancelled this TV show, instead?
Every time I find a show I like, it gets cancelled! I wish another network would pick it up.

I think it is ridiculous. They get you wraped in a good show and then they cancel it makes no sense at all!!!!!!!!!! SUPER SALTY
Very upset that this show is canceled. Had good ratings. Please can’t another network see the potential of this show and followers as Carter, and Last Man standing? Welcome to re post
I love this show. It is my favorite please don’t cancel it!!!!
I love this show! I don’t want to see it cancelled!
Have loved it since beginning… Please bring back or advise if picked up on another station. Don’t want it to end!
Love this show! I can’t believe it was cancelled! Hopefully another network will pick it up. Please 🙂
You better not cancel this show this was a very good show and if you can’t even give it a third season then I pretty much don’t want anything to do with NBC anymore and I’ll stick with Syfy this show is really good and has enough viewers there should be zero reason to cancel it if anything give it a better time slot and you’ll see double or triple the viewers come on NBC I work in the film industry I know how it works keep the show alive stop cutting shows that are good if you do I… Read more »
I LOVE HAVE LOVED MIDNIGHT,TEXAS WHEN IT STARTED AND I STILL LOVE IT!!! I WILL BE SO HURT IF THEY CANCEL THE SHOW AND NOT HAVE A SEASON 3. I AM AND HAVE BEEN A HUDGE FAN EVERY SINCE IT STARTED AND STILL NOW, I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE A SEASON 3, PLEASE DON’T CANCEL MIDNIGHT, TEXAS!!!
Great show, the networks usually keeps the dribble on the air. I was hoping that this show would make the grade for season 3. I just hope another network realizes its potential and picks it up.
I hope there is a season 3. I’ve been watching since the start of the show. I love it. If NBC won’t , I sure hope some other network picks it up. I think the ratings will keep getting better. Great sho
I am so sad that Midnight Texas has been cancelled!! It was just getting GREAT!! NBC will regret this!! Look at series like Supernatural or Vampire Diariesx and their longevity bc of “cult” audiences!! We are loyal and fight for what we love!! This was a very bad decision by NBC…they FINALLY HAD A NEW COOL SERIES AND THEY CANNED IT!! NBC should stand behind and believe in more series like Midnight!
I understand that the beginning of Season 2 of Midnight Texas started off slowly, but it would be suicide to cancel this awesome tv show. I am an I.D. channel fanatic, it’s the only channel I am watching because there is nothing else on network television that I enjoy watching until Midnight Texas came on. I even have my neighbor and her husband hooked on the show. The storylines are original and there is nothing else on network tv that peeks my interest. Please don’t cancel this marvelous tv show, I’d be lost without it.
I wish this show would continue into season 3. it is different than most other shows; I like that it is unique and I am one of those folks who love a scary, supernatural story.
I hope another network or cable channel picks this up and rubs NBC’s face in it by supporting it as it grows into a resounding success.
Please keep this series going! It’s brilliant in the way that the characters portray the fact that they aren’t perfect and are down to earth, I’m sure a lot of us can relate to certain traits (obviously we aren’t mythological creatures… or are we)?
Seriously, so much could be done with the characters over a few seasons. Give it a chance someone, PLEASE
