Mr. Mercedes may have a fourth season after all. The series, which is based on a trilogy of works by Stephen King, has been picked up by Peacock. Seasons one and two will arrive on the streaming service next month while season three will arrive at a later date.
The three seasons of the dramatic series initially aired on AT&T Audience Network. The series has been in limbo since Audience ceased operations in the spring. While Peacock has not renewed Mr. Mercedes for a fourth season, it’s favorable that the streaming service has picked up the existing seasons.
Revolving around a retired detective who’s plagued by a serial killer, Mr. Mercedes stars Harry Treadway, Brendan Gleeson, Kelly Lynch, Jharrel Jerome, Mary-Louise Parker, Holland Taylor, Justine Lupe, Breeda Wool, Scott Lawrence, Ann Cusack, Jack Huston, Tessa Ferrer, Maximiliano Hernández, and Nancy Travis.
Peacock revealed more about the arrival of the series in a press release.
