How’s Murphy’s comeback during the 11th season of the Murphy Brown TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Murphy Brown is cancelled or renewed for season 12. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the Murphy Brown season 11 episodes here. **Status update below.
A CBS sitcom revival, Murphy Brown stars original cast members Candice Bergen, Grant Shaud, Faith Ford, and Joe Regalbuto, alongside Nik Dodani, Jake McDorman, Adan Rocha. and Tyne Daly. Amidst daily attacks on the press, Murphy Brown (Bergen) decides to forsake retirement for a new CNC morning show, Murphy in the Morning. She reunites the old FYI gang, Corky Sherwood (Ford), Frank Fontana (Regalbuto), and Miles Silverberg (Shaud) for her new endeavor, as well as social media director Pat Patel (Dodani), and is determined to prioritize solid reporting over sensationalism. They still decompress at Phil’s bar, which is now run by his sister, Phyllis (Daly), with help from college student, Miguel (Rocha), a “Dreamer” from Mexico. Meanwhile, Murphy’s son, Avery (McDorman), is all grown up and following a bit too closely in mom’s footsteps.

LOVE Murphy Brown. It’s one the smartest wittiest shows on TV! Even Trump can’t resist her. Please don’t cancel it!
Would REALLY like to see this renewed. While it’s not the funniest, hippest show, it presents important topics in a humorous way which allows people to lighten up a bit while still making a point. We need a little levity these days!
I loved the original ‘Murphy Brown’ and was delighted when it returned after lo these many years. My college student daughter, who never saw the original series is a huge fan of the remake. Poking fun at the current political climate through the eyes of liberal, Murphy Brown is a hoot and cathartic as well.
We love Murphy Brown. Very timely. So glad to see the cast back with the new additions. We look forward to it every week. Very funny show.
Bring back Murphy. We need funny satiric comedies. We need comedies that make people think.
Renew it, please! Still very funny and relevant!!! It’s what we need in these times to remind people what the purpose of journalism is with a funny, satiric bite.

I’m so glad Murphy is on again. Candace Bergren is still amazing and funny. I could do without Frank and Corky, but keep the son and the great new kid. Love the bar scenes and Phil’s sister is a scream and steals all of her scenes.
The new Murphy is every bit as good as the older Murphy. Extremely important issues of the day brought up. As always, Murphy Brown is front and center and should be renewed. we will look forward to season 12 in 2019.

This show is as funny as the original! It stays right on top of an awful administration, and an unstable potus! Some how this show gives us something to laugh at, at a time when America doesn’t have much to laugh at! I hope they renew it for another ten years, Murphy Brown is the best show on tv!
