Katrina Law is headed to the mainland. The actress previously appeared on CBS’ Hawaii Five-0, and now she is joining Mark Harmon, Sean Murray, Emily Wickersham, Wilmer Valderrama, Brian Dietzen, Diona Reasonover, Rocky Carroll, and David McCallum on NCIS, the network’s venerable Tuesday night drama.
Deadline revealed the following about Law’s role on the CBS series:
“Law will play NCIS REACT Special Agent Jessica Knight, a formidable REACT Team agent who specializes in hostage negotiations and handles daily high-risk operations with skill and precision. Sharp, athletic and tough, she was raised by a single mother and had to fight for everything in life and is damn good at it. Fiercely tenacious and with a wry sense of humor, Jessica is married to a stay-at-home dad who is raising their infant son.”
Law will appear in the final two episodes of season 18 of NCIS. If CBS picks up the series for season 19, she could become a series regular.

It would be interesting to see how Katrina Law character works in with NCIS compared to her on Hawaii five – O Still have wait to see what the future holds for Leroy Dethro Gibbs.
Leroy Jethro Gibbs future holds in the Balance after the last episode of NCIS so new Actress & character like Katrina Law will shed new light on the NCIS series. Maybe Timothy McGee Sean Murry will be the leader of the Squad unit.
I loved her on Arrow, Training day and Hawaii 5O. She is an accomplished Actress and I think she could be a tough no bones about it character. The writers need to give her a double role of being tough yet show a softer side of compassion.
I look forward to the Hawaii NCIS, but the original is Best ever!
I hope they don’t cancel either one. These two shows are an old friend with great actors, humor, careing and are both exciting. Tried of situation comedies and that do not intertain us older americans.
I dont like change. I hope Law is a good addition. Time will tell. If Gibbs retire, I may stop watching it. If she isnt a good fit Ill stop watching it. Why are you killing people off??? I know people move on in their careers but I dont have to like it. Been a loyal fan from the beginning.

I know what you mean. But I guess when a character decides to leave a show they take advantage of it to add more drama by pumping them off. The best ever was Ziva and Tony! Miss them greatly, but still loyal.
But, Hawaii 5-0 and NCIS are in the same world!

It would be cool to see her. Maybe she could lead NCIS Hawaii.
Great actress from legend of the seeker, Arrow, Hawaii five-O great character look forward being on ncis show awesome agent.
Not interested in her coming on the show. She has a sneery persona that will detract from the comradeship of the present cast. I don’t see her fitting in long term.
I like it! I also like seeing Gibbs put a beat down on that dog killer. Love it when the old Gibbs comes out!
I liked her on 5-0 should add a bit of freshness to the show. Bring her on.
