What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, The Night Shift stars Robert Bailey Jr., Eoin Macken, Jill Flint, Brendan Fehr, Scott Wolf, Tanaya Beatty, and JR Lemon, with Mark Consuelos recurring in season four. Although they’re kind of quirky, San Antonio Memorial’s emergency room night shift staff is extraordinary. They’ll risk almost anything to save their patients. Season three ended with Paul Cummings (Bailey) leading a staff walk-out after his father bought the hospital and fired Topher. Meanwhile, overseas, TC Callahan (Macken) was knocked out, during a refugee camp bombing. The fourth season picks up two days later, with everyone dealing with the consequences of their decisions. In Syria, TC’s proclivity for chaos helps him save people.
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of The Night Shift averaged a 0.66 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.96 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 32% and down by 21%, respectively. Find out how The Night Shift stacks up against other NBC TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Although season four premiered with much lower numbers than last season, it is still a bit too early to use the ratings to predict whether NBC will cancel or renew The Night Shift for season five. That said, this show’s audience has declined from year to year, particularly in its demo ratings. While I haven’t left my perch, my interest and appetite are piqued. I binged watched the entire 4 seasons of Night Shift , was such a good series , I was excited only to be disappointed in the end .. It is so hard finding good shows to watch guess I will just stick with Gaming ..
Local channel are getting less, and less interesting to watch. They put shows on like Night Shift, and then just when people start counting the day’s for a new season to start. It gets cancelled. Sucks

I’m so mad they didnt renew for a season 5. I really wanted to see Tc and Jordan get back together. I loved this show and I’m sad to see it go, I wish they would of continued it.

The Night shift has left me up all night on my toes. I love the adrenaline rush it gives me.. but ima. good way. I get to learn new things and get to enjoy watching the show at the same time. I love the characters, especially T.C & Jordan. I look forward to season 5.. hopefully. You can’t just leave me hanging like that!!
The Night Shift is an excellent show. I love the characters, the drama, and the plot. Not only is it a good show, but it makes me feel close with my passed grandfather. We used to watch it together, and watching it now makes me feel as if we’re still eating butter pecan ice cream and gasping over what happened to TC, Jordan, Topher, or any of the other cast members. I am absolutely heartbroken to hear that it’s been cancelled!

The Night Shift has excellent reviews and deserves to come back for a season 5. Everyone that watches it because happy with it and will hope for more seasons. So I think to believe that season 5 is a need. If you could bring it back, everyone would be satisfied with the continuing of their favorite show. Thank you and please bring it back.
