The Pioneer Woman has started filming a new season. Production has begun at Ree Drummond’s home in Osage County, Oklahoma.
Food Network released a press statement detailing the new season. Check that out below.
“Pacific Productions, an independent television production company working on behalf of Food Network, and the Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO) are proud to announce the start of production on a new season of the hit Oklahoma-based show “The Pioneer Woman”. The series is utilizing the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program administered by OF+MO, and will begin principal photography in mid-July in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.
“The Pioneer Woman” is hosted by award-winning blogger and best-selling cookbook author Ree Drummond and is shot on location at her family’s Osage County ranch. “The Pioneer Woman” serves up real-life stories of people living and ranching in Oklahoma and delicious recipes that range from cowboy favorites to fast family meals and big spreads for easy entertaining.
“We are thrilled to be the production company behind ‘The Pioneer Woman’. Ree is fantastic and filming in Oklahoma has been a real joy for the entire production team working on the show,” said Carl Green of Pacific Productions. “Over several seasons we have been able to reflect the great stories and real-life action of life on a ranch in Oklahoma and the historically rich surrounding areas and community as well as showcase Ree’s wonderful recipes and accessible style of cooking, meal-planning and casual entertaining. ‘The Pioneer Woman’ is a huge success around the world and we are honored to make a program that showcases the very best of what Oklahoma has to offer. “
‘On behalf of the state, it is a privilege to have quality, homegrown talent such as Ree Drummond remain in Oklahoma to unveil new episodes of her hit show The Pioneer Woman this year,’ said OF+MO Director Tava Maloy Sofsky. ‘The Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program has allowed us to build a relationship with Pacific Productions, whose use of the state’s film incentive continues to both build our industry infrastructure with sustainable jobs and support our local businesses, thus enhancing economic impact in the Pawhuska area and southeastern region of the state.’”

Love, love Pioneer Woman show. Hope it is never cancelled.. so down to earth family. I film the show so I will never miss a show. I have loved watching her growing children. They are such a sweet family.
Love Pioneer Woman Show. I will follow her any where. Proud she is from Oklahoma. Not a Food Network fan. I didnt like how they dropped Paula Dean. No 2nd chance just criticism. Ree always has great recipes and shows.
Pioneer Woman is my favorite show on the food channel. I have watched the Food Channel for years, and it is such a joy to watch Ree prepare a meal, I love trying her recipes. Being a member of a Cookbooks Club, we used her cookbooks a year ago, to try her recipes, and have several favorites. I believe the Food Channel is very fortunate to have her as a part of their programing network… what an asset.
Love watching her show! Have even visited her restaurant and the lodge! Have watched the kids grow up! Please don’t cancel!
I love the show. I never miss an episode. Please don’t cancel her show. It’s different in so many ways, its for ordinary people like myself who love great tasting and looking food but don’t want to or can’t go thru a hundred complicated steps that take special tools you don’t have. She’s down to earth very sweet and likeable, and she cooks food you know you can cook for you and your family too ! She’s a KEEPER!!!!
I will love to watch her shows. It’s nice to watch Ree cook and speak about her family. Nice.

Refreshing!!!!!!! your show connects with real people in real life. We are Wyoming outfitters living on a small ranch outside of Riverton Wyoming and outfitting in the Bridger Teton Wilderness. I am the cook for our wilderness outfitting business on our summer trips and fall hunting, riding horses 16 plus miles a day on trails into the back country and cooking for our guests. I frequently use recipes from your show and share with our guests where I have gotten them. Was excited about the Merc. and hotel in your town and commend you for contributing to your towns economy.… Read more »

Many people do not trust Asian food only because they are unfamiliar with the ingredients. Has nothing to do with the people. Error in judgement. She’s a great cook. Bet those Asian wings were delicious!
