After six years off the air, Poker After Dark is coming back. Hidden Remote reports the cancelled NBC TV show is being revived on PokerGo.
Set in Las Vegas, the one-hour show provided an in-depth focus on poker games featuring prominent players in the field. The series ran from 2007 to 2011 before it was cancelled by NBC.
Now, Poker After Dark will be back this summer. The revival will stream exclusively on the subscription service PokerGo and feature live games and tournaments year-round. Poker After Dark returns with new episodes on August 7th.
From Mori Eskandani, founder, Poker Productions:
Poker After Dark achieved some of the most breathtaking moments in poker by bringing the fans into an intimate setting up close and personal with the players. PokerGO is the perfect destination for the return of Poker After Dark and we look forward to bringing back the same spirit of the show that made it such a hit in the past.”
