What’s This TV Show About?
A CBS crime drama from creators Frank Spotnitz and David Vainola, Ransom stars Luke Roberts, Karen LeBlanc, Brandon Jay McLaren, and Nazneen Contractor. The mystery thriller centers on crisis and hostage negotiator Eric Beaumont (Roberts). He and his team save lives which often seem beyond saving, in part, because Eric understands criminals better than they understand themselves.
Season Three Ratings

Will CBS cancel or renew Ransom for season four? Based on the past two years, it seems as if the US Nielsen ratings don’t matter a whit. The series has production partners in Canada, France, and Germany, and reportedly does well internationally so it could be renewed with or without CBS. In the meantime, predicting its chances for a fourth season stateside is a fool’s game, because it has more to do with the network’s profit margin on the show than viewer interest. I think a season 4 renewal is almost guaranteed on CBS front, just as long as the other partners remain interested because it gives them 13 hours of content for the tv season for very cheap as far as i’m aware – which is why they don’t mind giving it the Saturday slot which is known for lower ratings. Plus, compared to some other shows (which air weekdays) it does not actually perform that bad and with the actual content is not half bad. I only discovered Ransom season 3! Now it’s my favorite show. My husband and I (53 & 56) always look forward to our Saturday night “date” with Ransom. I love dating my husband ~ PLEASE renew for a season 4 so I can keep doing it!!

My husband and I (51 & 59) never miss an episode of Ransom; we have loved it since season one! I really hope it is renewed for AT LEAST one more season. We are already having to say goodbye to Big Bang. 🙂

I DEFINITELY think Ransom should be renewed for a season four! I look forward to this show every week. It is one of the few good shows left on television that hasn’t added the non-necessary raunch. It simply sticks to the plots and action and does what a good show should do. I LOVE the cast! PLEASE bring it back for another season!!!!

I totally agree with Nicole McNeely. Ransom deserves another season because it is one of the better shows still on television. Also, when checking demographics it seems that few people even remember that there is a mature audience that still watch TV. The problem is that there are only a few programs worth watching anymore. Ransome is just that a good show.
