What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC techno-thriller, Reverie stars Sarah Shahi, Dennis Haysbert, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Jessica Lu, Kathryn Morris, and John Fletcher. The drama centers on human behavior expert Mara Kint (Shahi), who retired from her career as a hostage negotiator, after a personal tragedy. Her old boss, Charlie Ventana (Haysbert), has now tapped Mara for a mission to save regular people who have essentially lost themselves in an immersive virtual-reality experience, which lets them live out their wildest fantasies and most dearly held dreams.

Reverie definitely had a rocky beginning – the first few episodes were a bit juvenile and the cast and stories were a bit disjointed. It’s one of the few shows I have watched, however, that went from a basically awful show, to a much more intelligent, exciting show in later episodes. I’m sure that’s why the ratings were terrible as stated by Telly here, but the finale was absolutely riveting, with a cliff hanger I never saw coming! I really enjoy this show, due to my schedule I have to PVR it and catch up on all shows that I watch on the weekends.

Yes, please renew this show! There are a lot of unanswered questions at the end of last nights episode. It seems like all the programs I enjoy are getting cancelled so PLEASE let there be a season 2!!!

I agree!!! I love this show!! It’s smart, innovative and different. One of the best new shows of the summer. I also like the diversity of the characters. I’m guessing the ratings aren’t great because it seems so many people are watching stupid reality TV, rebooted game shows, or silly sitcoms. I hope it gets renewed for a Season 2.
