What’s This TV Show About?
An E! Entertainment primetime soap opera, The Royals stars Elizabeth Hurley, William Moseley, Alexandra Park, Jake Maskall, Tom Austen, Genevieve Gaunt, and Max Brown. The drama centers on a fictional British royal family, in modern day London. They inhabit a world of opulence that caters to their every desire, but one that also comes with a price tag of duty, destiny, and intense public scrutiny.
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of The Royals is averaging a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 401,000 viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 30% and 25%, respectively. Find out how The Royals stacks up against other scripted E! TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will E! cancel or The Royals for season five? Back in December of 2017 though, the creator was fired in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations. Whether or not that affects this show’s chance to continue remains to be seen. The ratings have seen a significant drop but my sense is that E! wants to continue to dabble in the scripted TV business. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Renew the Royals! It’s the only show I watch on network tv! Let them have another season at least, if only to wrap up the story. Please!
Please renew the show and bring season 5! the story just getting better and better in every season and getting tense in every episode, especially teh last episode is season 4. in the ep 9 of seaso 4, the story makes my heart races to see the ending, but when i saw the ep 10 of season 4, its making me cry because it leaves me hanging with the upcoming story. please bring back the royals. this is the show that i really enjoy to catch up, the cast are all amazing and did magnificent jobs. Well it’s obvious e entertainment has no intention of following season 4 up with a season 5 I can tell they made their minds up in December when they fired mark schwahn so this is a silent cancelation no release will be made….
This show needs to be renewed it’s awesome and it’s just now getting extremely exciting and digging deeper is the best way to go plus we gotta see Robert get what he deserves Liam to become king and jasper and Eleanor to get married and her have kids because she needs to know how the queen feels and Cyrus needs to be banished and given to the people lol
This show deserves at least another season. This cast and crew has worked hard to bring something enjoyable together and they deserve another go at it. I’ll be devastated if they end it. This is the only reason I watch E!
Please renew The Royals. Jaspenor is not done yet. This is one show that gets better every season, unlike most get boring or just stupid. For example Greys Anatomy life ended 9 years ago, but it keeps getting renewed.
This series has to be continued this cannot be the end we need answers and we definetily want to see Liam as a king to see what happend with Kathrine and most of them a we need a royal wedding a Jaspenor one <3 love them so much
I really hope The Royals is tenewed. I love the drama and comedy of these characters and look forward to each season. E please bring it back.
