Scorpion just wrapped its fourth season, but will there be another? Should CBS renew the TV show for a fifth season for not? Do you want more adventures of this geeky crew?
The action drama follows a team of misfits who also happen to be the country’s last line of defense against lurking high-tech threats. The cast includes Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kay Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham, Robert Patrick, Riley B. Smith, Andy Buckley, Jamie McShane, Joshua Leonard, Dan Dratch, and Scott Porter.
It’s unclear if CBS will renew Scorpion for a fifth season. On the one hand, ratings have been pretty low for the series. Season four averaged a 0.81 rating in the 18-49 demo and 5.262 million viewers. That’s a nearly 30% drop in both ratings and viewership when compared to last season’s numbers.
On the other hand, CBS Television Studios is a producer on Scorpion, meaning the network has additional financial interest in picking up the show for another season. The show already has 93 episodes in the can and these days, that’s already enough for syndication.

I love Scorpion. It’s quick and funny with enough science center to it to keep it real. I find myself Googling some of their science stuff actually spot on. Keep it coming but maybe bring it back to more what was in the first couple of seasons.
Yes! I love this show! Please keep it around CBS. You cancelled of 2 of my favorite shows on your network last year, PURE GENIUS and ZOO. And I have learned you also cancelled 9JKL, another one I liked. WHY????

This show is awesome! I will be thououghly disappointed in CBS if they cancel this show. There is not many shows I have this opinion about. Most of the shows they seem to keep are boring, crap to watch and not at all entertinig. Scorpion is not one of those shows!

I would certainly watch Scorpion as long as it stays on the air! This is a delightful story and we need to see how each character progresses. Don’t take them away from us mid-stream!
