Looks like Scorpion will be back for a new round of missions. Today, CBS announced they’ve renewed the series for a third season, which will air during the 2016-2017 season.
Scorpion stars Elyes Gabel, Robert Patrick, Katharine McPhee, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham and Eddie Kaye Thomas as a team of experts who use their abilities and skills to help solve complex global problems.
Currently in its second season, the action drama is performing strongly in the ratings, with a 1.81 average in the 18-49 demo and about 9.83 million viewers per episode so far. For comparison, last season received an average of 10.96 million viewers per episode and a 2.3 rating in the 18-49 demo.
Today, the network announced 2016-17 season renewals of 10 other shows as well — 2 Broke Girls, The Amazing Race, Blue Bloods, Elementary, Hawaii Five-0, Madam Secretary, Mom, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, and Survivor.

I think it’s one of the best shows out there and I’m so glad apron its return for a third season. I hope there will be most seasons ahead.
I love scorpion. I wouldn’t mind another 3-6 seasons. The Toby and Happy Drama is off the Hook. The suspense and excitement makes it a bomb. I hope The Paige and Walter Story become more intriguing. Can’t wait to see what the other two seasons have in store.

My husband and I love Scorpion. I don’t think we like one person better then any of the others. There is excellent chemistryamong all of them. I just wish Walter would get over himself and tango with Page.
The show is one of my favorites. Please do not cancel this show. Its clean, and very entertaining!!
