Looks like Scorpion will be back for a new round of missions. Today, CBS announced they’ve renewed the series for a third season, which will air during the 2016-2017 season.
Scorpion stars Elyes Gabel, Robert Patrick, Katharine McPhee, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham and Eddie Kaye Thomas as a team of experts who use their abilities and skills to help solve complex global problems.
Currently in its second season, the action drama is performing strongly in the ratings, with a 1.81 average in the 18-49 demo and about 9.83 million viewers per episode so far. For comparison, last season received an average of 10.96 million viewers per episode and a 2.3 rating in the 18-49 demo.
Today, the network announced 2016-17 season renewals of 10 other shows as well — 2 Broke Girls, The Amazing Race, Blue Bloods, Elementary, Hawaii Five-0, Madam Secretary, Mom, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, and Survivor.

I love Scorpion. Please keep it coming. I have seen great series be cancelled. Don’t let this one go. I love all the characters. I would miss any one of them. This is such an interesting show. Great characters and story lines. Please keep it for a long time!

I am so so happy it’s picked back up to me it is one of the best shows on, one of my top 10 ever and I’m 52 so been through a lot of shows. Please keep it going!
Love Scorpion!!! Don’t really get involved in a lot of series on tv, but knew I’d love Scorpion right from the beginning. Love the whole cast, but Love Toby’s sarcastic type personality.

This by far the Best amd most interesting show on tv now Please DO NOT cancel all the hospital and crime shows are getting a bit boring But SCORPION makes up for all the wasted time making all those other shows Its innovative and every minute is well worth watching!!!
