Telly’s Take
Based on the ratings, things already didn’t look good and then they started airing two episodes a night which smelled like a burnoff. The Viacom execs have been shuffling programs on their channels (including BET, CMT, TV Land, VH1, and MTV) so they may be okay with this big dip in the ratings as they try to establish the new Paramount Network. I’ll keep a hungry eye out and will update this page with breaking developments (and, hopefully, my supper plans). What do you think? Do you hope the The Shannara Chronicles TV show will be renewed for a third season? How do you feel about Spike/Paramount Network cancelling this TV series?
I really can’t understand why other viewer hates it, but this movie is so damn beautiful, amazing! I’m really hoping for the soonest positive update of it’s season 3. I admit that I haven’t read the book but please pips can’t you just focus on the creativity of the people behind it. Reading the comments section I really feel bad about those people who only knows how to sense errors but couldn’t just appreciate the beauty in it. I’m just nobody but then I can represent those people who really loves it and is looking forward for the next season,… Read more »
Please have a season 3. I love this show!!!!
The Shannara Chronicles was the only reason I was watching any network. It’s time to to start reading books again. Bye bye commercials that take all the shows time up.
Haven`t seen such an amazing and thrilling film lately !! I really hope to see a season 3 ! (crossing my fingers to make my dream come true)
P.S. Congratulations for the great show ! I really enjoyed my time watching Season 1 and 2 !!!
Me and my family really enjoyed this series. I hope they make a season three.
Please Do not cancel the Shannara Chronicles I believe transferring them from MTV to Spike through people off and we did not know it was on so that’s why you did not have very many viewers people are viewing it now on Netflix that is where you will find the evidence that it should not be canceled for season three and should continue on please I am joyed a little so it is an enjoyment to watch please do not cancel it thank you very much
I enjoy this series. If its cancelled, Netflix needs to take it over!!!
I hope the series is renewed for a third season. If possible they should see how well it is watched on Netflix. This is how I learned of it for season one and how I am watching season 2 currently. I don’t get the station it originally airs on.
How could they cancel it again??? This is one of my favorite shows of all time and they’re ruining it; taking it away from me! Why don’t they just move over to the CW or Freeform or something else that will appreciate The Shannara family of fans and cast and will renew The Shannara Chronicles for a third season! Because honestly to be honest, this is BULL that it’s being canceled AGAIN! Just my opinion…
I really want the show to come back for a third season. I’m invested in the characters and story. I have to know what will become of the 4 lands. Please bring it back!!!
I really enjoyed this show from the beginning, and really hope that season 3 comes back; Because they can’t just leave everybody hanging with a cliffhanger…I really hope paramount takes the show.
I hope they can find a network to picks up season 3 of The Shannara Chronicles. Finnally find a show that I love and now they cancel it! Seems like all the great shows are canceled and they keep the stupid ones..it makes no sense at all. I am sure the ratings were down because some did not know it was moved from MTV to Spike. Please renew this great show for season 3!
I really hope it comes back. I love the show and the books. I would be disappointed if it got cancelled.
The show went from a 0.40 and average of 889,000 viewers in season one to a 0.09 and an average of 246,000 viewers in season 2. That is unbelievably atrocious. Good luck to the fans. The show absolutely deserved to be cancelled.
Really Hope it’s back for another Season !
