The Sleepy Hollow TV show was cancelled, yesterday. Now, co-creator Phillip Iscove, has shared his feelings about the show, making sure to thank the cast, crew, and fans for the supernatural series’ four season run. He’s not alone, either. Actor Phillip Mears is also reaching out, in the wake of the news that there will be no Sleepy Hollow, season five.
A historical fantasy drama, Sleepy Hollow stars Tom Mison as Ichabod Crane. The FOX cast also includes: Janina Gavankar, Lyndie Greenwood, Jerry MacKinnon, Rachel Melvin, Oona Yaffe, Jeremy Davies, and John Noble. After star Nicole Beharie departed the series at the end of season three, the possibility of even a fourth season was up in the air, so their gratitude is a lovely grace note.
Co-Creator Phillip Iscove Responds to the Sleepy Hollow Cancellation
In a series of tweets, Iscove, who created Sleepy Hollow, along with Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, and Len Wiseman, wrote:

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every actor, writer, director, producer and incredible crew on all their endless hard work.

Mears, who shared the role of Moloch with D.J. Mifflin, and also played the Golem in season one, and later appeared as the Head Berserker, The Kindred, and Mr. Stich in latter seasons, tweeted:

It should have been renewed. I am heart broken, but I want to thank everyone on the show. I Love you all. The quality of your crafts were awesome.
Please see if you can find another outlet to keep Sleepy Hollow alive and on the air! This is a great show and very well done. The actors were believable and if this show doesn’t continue, they will be missed by myself, my family and many fans. Continue to make history fun.
Sleepy Hollow should be renewed. It was a great series. I really enjoyed watching the series and the actors were awesome.
It should have been renewed…this was a great series and still had a lot of life left and i will trully miss this show…the writers,actors and everyone who made this show awesome deserve the biggest thank you….i will miss you all

Cant believe they cancelled it. Mixing history with present day was genius. . I loved Sleepy Hollow.. Season 4 was one of it’s best. I to hope Netflix’s comes to it’s rescue.

While it was a great show that I enjoyed, I’m not surprised it ended up being cancelled, the way season 4 ended leads me to believe that the writers weren’t either. A good ending that could’ve served just as well as a series finale as a season finale. Who knows maybe Netflix will pick it up
It’s a crying shame that the show is cancelled. I thought this was a brilliant season. It was fresh and felt like a new series. It had a season 1 feel to it. I loved it… I hope another network will pick it up but by Phillip’s tweets it sounds like he’s ready to let it go 🙁
I loved the show as much as the rest of the viewers. I couldn’t agree more with all the comments before. For myself that was the only show worthwhile to watch on FOX I really hope they will change their minds and renew Sleepy Hollow or I too will not be watching their station. I liked Sleepy Hollow, but I seem to remember it competing with another show I also liked to watch on Fridays. I would still watch it, but usually find it online and stream it the next day. I think there was just too much competition on Friday nights, and not only on tv but with weekend activities as well. I did think it was better with Abbie.
I cannot believe that Fox cancelled this show I’ve been watching it from the beginning. If Fox doesn’t want this show why can’t another one take it over ?
I agree with all who commented before me, I am DONE with FOX network. Sleepy Hollow is a great show, and should be renewed. I have watched it since the debut. FOX has had cancelled other shows that should have been renewed but this time I am finally done with them. The only way to get me to return to FOX is to renew “Sleepy Hollow”

It’s just not fair that this great show is cancelled. I looked so forward to this show each season. Can’t you find another network? So depressing!
I am so done with Fox. They have no regard for the opinion of the fans that actually watched and enjoyed this awesome show each week! They should have left it on Monday nights, extended the season episode count and promoted it more. Social media also succeeded in bringing down the ratings after Nicole left (and yes…she wanted to leave!!). A lot of people because of the hype on social media never gave it a chance in Season 4. Debbie i couldn’t agree with you more. this is the only show i ever binge watched. And i too had to google ‘shipping’ to find out what is was. i will avoid all things Fox (not hard for me because they are awful). And hope to be able to keep up with what happens next for this fabulous cast. I will really miss watching this show.
