The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

STAR I’m very upset and beside myself to hear that STAR will not be back for a fourth season. I just spent the last three days binge watching it on Hulu! I fell in love with it and the cast! I never even knew about STAR, or I would’ve been watching from the jump! I’m praying someone, Hulu, Netflix, someone picks them up & starts it back up again! I WANT MORE!!!!! There should be a season 4!!! Star is a great show with a lot of people we like and a a lot of drama that you know the world loves!. Plus we have to see how it ends how are you just gonna cancel the season with no explanation or ending.
Yes there should be a Seaso 4. I would watch it. It’s not fair to leave the fans hanging.

I feel that Star should be approved for a season 4 before it is officially canceled. The way season 3 ended was heartbreaking . I have so many questions and I would love watching season 4 to get them.
