The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

This is just not right!!! How would you just end it like that. This is one of my Favorites and her baby is gone a bunch of people get shot and your not going to do a season 4. Your network needs to get there **** together. My whole family watches this show. I have the radio station and I have bought so many of the songs I loved the music so did my daughter. Definitely would love to watch a season 4 of Star, it’s adficting. I can say some of us didn’t know of the series but once you start watching it, it definitely is hard to stop watching it, it’s like Empire keep the series coming.
