Stranger Things is adding some strangers to the mix. Deadline reports Dacre Montgomery and Sadie Sink have joined season two of the Netflix series.
Created by Matt and Ross Duffer, the supernatural thriller takes place in the 1980s and follows strange happenings in a small, Indiana town. The cast includes Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin.
From Deadline:
Sink will play Max, a tough and confident girl whose appearance, behavior and pursuits seem more typical of boys than girls of this era. She has a complicated history and is generally suspicious of those around her.
Montgomery is Billy, Max’s hyper-confident and edgy older step-brother. He steals girlfriends away from their boyfriends, is great at drinking games, and drives a black Camaro. But lurking under his apparent charisma is a violent and unpredictable nature.”
Seaosn two of Stranger Things is slated to premiere in 2017.
