TV show description:
This crime thriller explores the tensions on the U.S. – Mexico border. When an American judge known for her anti-immigration views is found dead on the bridge that connects El Paso and Juarez, Sonya Cross (Diane Kruger) from the El Paso Police Department must work with her Mexican counterpart from Chihuahua State Police, Marco Ruiz (Demian Bichir). Their goal is to catch a serial killer operating on both sides of the border.
Marco understands the slippery politics of Mexican law enforcement. While his police force slowly succumbs to the pressures and demands of the cartel, he’s one of the last good men in the department. He’s charming, but also cunning as he will do whatever it takes to get what he needs.
This doesn’t sit well with Sonya, who has Asperger’s and strictly follows rules — as well as protocol. Her candid and off-putting personality fuels an unforgiving drive for truth.
The case quickly pulls them both into a string of murders on the border, a scene already consumed by illegal immigration, drug trafficking, violence and prostitution.
Episode #26 — Jubilex
Marco’s loyalty is put to the ultimate test while Sonya attempts to tie up loose ends. Eleanor yearns for closure. Frye and Adriana land an insider source.
First aired: October 1, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the The Bridge TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
I am very sad they canceled such a great show. Actors were amazing. I hope it is picked up by another network.
Now why would they cancelled this show it was one that I would look forward to watching every week. This show was very interesting just to know how it really is on the other side of the border. Mexico is very complex and this show presents how life is living there and how crime can be it is very realistic. Now why would you want to cancel. Don’t understand??????
Love the Bridge. Why are you cancelling such a good show. My husband and I live to watch it together. What a shame. FX YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!
My husband and I enjoyed this show very much. We were hoping that it would not be cancelled. It is a show that is more realistic and the actors are great. It is not a mindless “reality show” that seems to get all the attention and we looked forward to watching The Bridge every week. Hopefully it will be picked up by another network or it will return.
This is what idiots do, cancel great shows. Remember the transgendered hit girl?
I guess that show was cancelled because the tgirl was murdering to many white male criminals!

This is my favorite show, please don’t cancel it. It was the one show I truly looked forward to every week.
please do not cancel the most interesting and realistic tv show
I just love this show. I hate when it ends and can’t wait till the next week. I don’t know what the appeal is, but I am addicted to the show.
My husband and I love this show. Please do not cancel.
This show is one of the truly well-written on tv today. The acting is superb, the characters are well developed, and the storyline has great depth. I hope it will continue to run.
I hope the Bridge is picked up by another network
This is a great show. I HOPE it isn’t cancelled!!!!
I am very upset that The Bridge wasn’t renewed. I looked forward to watching that more than any of my other shows. It was exciting, emotional and hard core all at the same time. I hope you will reconsider. Maybe the reason it had a hard time was being at the same time at Nashville. The Bridge was top rated in my opinion and deserves another season.
My wife and I are very disappointed that FX is not going to renew the “Bridge”. Wednesday evenings were always planned around the airing time of the “Bridge”. It will be greatly missed in our household.
My husband and I watch every episode of The Bridge and think it’s is one of the best series on TV. The acting is superb along with the setting and he realism.
Hope it isn’t cancelled-that would really be shame.
