Carl Weber’s The Family Business is staying in business on BET+. The streaming service has ordered a second season of the crime drama. Per Deadline, the order for season two is up by four episodes, which means viewers will see twelve episodes instead of eight.
Ernie stars in this BET+ series that follows the “Duncans, an upstanding, tightknit family that, by day, owns and operates an exotic car dealership in New York. By night, their business activities are more illicit in nature.”
In addition to Hudson, the cast includes Valarie Pettiford, Darrin DeWitt Henson, Javicia Leslie, Sean Ringgold, Tami Roman, Miguel A. Nunez, Arrington Foster, KJ Smith, Dylan Weber, Yadi Valerio and Emilio Rivera.
Production of season two of Carl Weber’s The Family Business has already begun in Los Angeles. The series will return in 2020.

I’m so happy to hear the show is being renewed for another season. I know many viewers have stressed not wanting it on BET+ I’m just like we are getting another good series. This day and age streaming is what we have. It can be frustrating streaming when sometimes the quality of films can be trash. As long as these streaming companies fix that and make it economical for everyone it can be a success

I think BET is grimy to put new shows on the streaming service while we pay for garbage already in BET. Scandalous. For that reason, I won’t be watching. Why would I pay twice for BET?

Love the series, just like I had read all of the books. Looked on line to see if BET picked up a 2season, glad they did, but it did not say when it starts, but when it does, I will be watching.

This was one of the Best TV Series I watched last year. I turned so many people on to this show. It is a must see. I’m waiting all of the actors are perfect for the roles that were given to them. How much longer is our wait. Excited !!
