Hot off its Golden Globes wins, will The Kominsky Method return for a second season? Deadline reports Netflix is in talks to renew the TV show for another season.
From Chuck Lorre, the comedy series follows the friendship between two aging longtime friends as they navigate through their golden years in Los Angeles. The cast includes Alan Arkin, Michael Douglas, Nancy Travis, Sarah Baker, Susan Sullivan, and Lisa Edelstein.
Last night, The Kominsky Method took home two Golden Globes, including Best Television Series — Musical or Comedy. So it would make sense for Netflix to renew the series for a second season, right?
It seems the streaming service is currently in talks for another season. According to Deadline, one of the few hang-ups is how many episodes to order.
When (and it seems likely) Netflix renews The Kominsky Method, we’ll update with more information.

Love the acting love the storyline. One of the best shows ive seen in ages. Alan Arkin is amazing (always has been). Michael Douglas one of the best things I’ve seen him do in ages.

This a wonderfully acted show, and of course, with the caliber of the talent, it is what you would expect. I like the pace of the show, making it seem more like real life than many others. The characters feel like people I personally know, so it is easy to get caught up in their stories.
Beyond a doubt the best TV out there. I only wish it was an hour show instead of a measly 1/2 hour. I’m always disappointed when the show is over so quickly. PLEASE renew.

We loved it and don’t typically binge watch but we watched all the episodes in a day. Really hoping it comes back soon
Easy to identify with older roles and the laughter, insight and humor they brought to familiar situations. I hope it comes back for a second season.
