The Orville stars Seth MacFarlane, Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, Halston Sage, J Lee, and Mark Jackson. The sci-fi action-adventure series centers on Captain Ed Mercer (Seth MacFarlane), of The U.S.S. Orville, and First Officer Kelly Grayson (Palicki) — his ex-wife. Whether facing off with the Krill, a dangerous alien race, or attempting rescues on behalf of the Planetary Union, the human and alien crew still must deal with their mundane issues and each other.
The second season of The Orville averaged a 0.75 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.16 million viewers. Compared to season one, that is down by 40% and 27%, respectively.

Love this show. Brings back memories of YEARS ago when Startrek was going from season to season. Startrek did have its moments of humor BUT it was suttle humor so if you weren’t paying attention YOU’D MISS IT…!!!!
Wish they’d publish the start date for 3rd season so we can all list it on our calendars so as not to MISS IT’s first episode….

I love this show. It’s very well written. The stories can make you laugh or cry. I have season 1 on dvd and when I am feeling a bit down I put the dvds on and am instantly cheered up. Am patiently waiting for season 2 to be released on dvd. I am a 76 year old pensioner and love the show…… proving your never to old to be taken up of yourself now and again which for me is what The Orville does. Thank you Seth for creating it.

The Orville has actually brought new life to this Trekkie. I have watched every Trek episode and movie there is with exception to Discovery which after checking out i decided it wasnt as good as Seth McFarlanes creation of the Wonderland version of everyones favorite sci fi show. Im loyal like that. Good is good.
I can’t wait until it is shown in the UK. I love SciFi and this is in my top three of all time greats. Series 4, 5, 6…??

So glad to hear season 3 is a Go! Wife and I are in our 70’s and love the show. It has a wide appeal. Even some morality hidden in but don’t tell the younger folks. Keep going Seth and Co.
Can we just get a release month at least? I really want to see season 3. I don’t see why they haven’t signed multiple seasons yet. Obviously, Seth MacFarlane knows what he’s doing. I hope he’s planning on making a movie out of this show.

the Orville is a great TV show and i looked forward to it every week. i go to Trivia that night and always record the episode and watch after i get home. great show, great story lines, great episodes. looking forward to season 3!
