What’s ahead for The Orville? Recently, star and creator Seth MacFarlane spoke with USA Today about the FOX TV show’s second season.
Set 400 years in the future, the sci-fi comedy centers on the crew of a mid-level exploratory spaceship, The U.S.S. Orville. The cast includes Seth MacFarlane, Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, Halston Sage, J Lee, Mark Jackson, and Chad L. Coleman.
In the interview, MacFarlane teased season two of The Orville, saying fans can expect more character depth and more cinematic visuals:
People can expect to see a visual expansion, an expanded knowledge about the characters and their relationships and a show that’s been worth the wait. The budget is bigger for Season 2. We obviously have a first-rate visual-effects and costume and makeup team. All the money is on the screen. I think people will be shocked with the level of feature-quality cinematic work they’re going to see.”
Season two of The Orville premieres on FOX on December 30th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

I really enjoyed the first season and look… Read more »
Had my doubts, a spoof of Star Trek, but turns out I like it. Though it has a spoofy side it has merit. The characters are not Vulcan stiff but do have unique personalities. The story lines can be a stretch but do address current issues. Thank you Seth
